LadyD
They idea that they come and turn your pigs into chickens and the hounds into cats would be interesting. They could make the world crazy for a while.Then... poof goneNo more disturbing clowns raiding your chests. Nickdy
Oh god... im imagineing this extremely creepy clown on stilts... I would literally burn down the circus just to get rid of it. Or maybe murder everyone >, wait the clowns might attack me...
dra6o0n
Evil Clowns.Maybe related with nomad style creatures living in the woodlands?Like how spider nests are, except a hostile 'creature' spawns each day from their structure and they attack the player in creepy ways? 501105
Hehe, evil clowns always seem to have an effect on people, though maybe that is because of It (great movie btw).

cptCalavera
The book was even worse, had nightmares for years after reading that. I would probably stop playing the game if something very similar to It was introduced :/I do like the stilt-clown idea They are all coming alive in my head! rojvol
Well. Its a bit weird idea. Not 100% fitting but somehow really good. I like the trading system that you have mentioned. That is something I miss (i know that there is piggie king, but sometimes I need more 2 flints then a mountain of gold). I think it would be logic to add some rules for this event. I mean like circus would appear only when you have for 5 days hunger constantly under 30% and you dont sleep a single night. Or something similar So the circus would be a bit of... hallucination. Dr.Seezme
I love this idea, in fact I believe that you have stolen this idea from me using alien technology before I could post it! Just listening to the main menu of this game makes me think of Maxwell's evil magic in a circus!
501105
Hmm, a demon circus would be one location to visit that would be unique.
dra6o0n
Hmm, a demon circus would be one location to visit that would be unique.Demon Circus... A 'special' hidden area that requires you to do something to unlock it, thus a 'end' game location?Like how the nether is minecraft's endgame in a sense. 501105
Mostly, I saw the creature hidden in the preview of the upcoming update and it seems demonic. Combine demons with a circus and you have something special.

Subhazard
Sounds like a great idea! I would love it if this were in the game. If you like this, check out my idea here: http://forums.kleientertainment.com/showthread.php?3082-Demon-Victoria-A-pipe-dream-of-a-suggestion-but-just-something-to-think-about
Someguy123
Hmm, how about when they leave, if you're too close to them, just a like a mandrake cooking: you just faint and wake up the next morning and there's nobody there, and not a single trace that they ever existed... Ora
I thought this was a terrible idea until someone else suggested that the circus be ghosts and not live people.
asdfghjjkl
I like the ghost circus idea Trading would be neat, some sort of reverse pig king where you trade gold for things
Oatmeal
WOW this topic is old. xD But still a great one! Because I've always been a fan of the evil circus theme and when I saw you pop this thread up, it reminded me of this song. And while we're on the subject of themes. Metal Town! But yeah. Ghost circus has been a huge theme in my head for things I do regarding themes for quite a while. I even remember playing the arcade game Carn-evil. lol I shot a zombeh Santa! :V
