[Resolved] Since installing Shipwrecked, I can no longer play Reign of Giants or Shipwrecked

I was gifted a copy of Shipwrecked on Steam (I've been playing Reign of Giants and Don't Starve Together for years now), accepted it, installed it. Now when I start a game, I get checkboxes that come up for RoG or Shipwrecked but I can't click either one. I can start a Vanilla game and it asks me "would you like to make this world compatible with Shipwrecked, which will enable things like wetness and overheating?" so it knows that the game is there.

When someone else who owns the DLC plays on my computer, they can start a game with RoG or SW just fine. 

I've uninstalled, reinstalled, no luck. What's happening here and how do I fix it? I want to be killed by more exciting types of weather.

First off, please delete your settings.ini file for Don't Starve - this will reset your game's settings to their default values. You will be able to find the settings.ini file in your documents folder at C:\Users\{User Name}\Documents\Klei\DoNotStarve\settings.ini

Should the issue persist, please fully uninstall Don't Starve, and then delete all local content folders and files that has been created for the game. After that, re-download and re-install Don't Starve from Steam to see if that makes a difference.

If the steps above were unable to resolve the issue, please provide us with your most recent log.txt file and we will investigate further. This will be found in your documents folder at Documents\Klei\DoNotStarve\log.txt

No dice. I also tried uninstalling then reinstalling Steam since it seems to have more to do with my user account than with my actual game. No luck there either.

This is odd. Did you user your mouse to get to the "New Game" screen? Or were you using your keyboard? When you hover your mouse over the "ROG" and "SW" options, does anything happen?

Did you have any controllers or third-party USB peripherals plugged in when trying to do this? When unplugging those USB devices, does the same issue happen?

If you are able to use your mouse on every other button on the main menu, get to "New Game" screen, use the directional keys on your keyboard to ROG or SW and use the Enter Key to activate it. Let us know if that works or not for your game.

I was using my mouse. When I hover over the buttons, they enlarge/highlight but when I click them, it makes the "you're clicking something that doesn't work" sound from the game. The other buttons are clickable. Settings and character and world and all them. Only thing plugged in is the mouse, which is wireless.

But I changed the controls so that the Primary button is Enter instead of Left Mouse and-Voila!-I can select RoG or SW. So that was it. Still makes no sense to me but I don't know how these things work. So hopefully everybody can learn something from this. Also let me know if you figure out a way for me to start games without changing controls over first.
