Can't get into games due to mod error message, can't delete outdated mods to get into server

I've been trying to play games with my friends and I can't host a game because my friends can't join because of my outdated mods that are a glitch, I cant get into games because of "My friends outdated mods" Yet he doesn't have any outdated mods. Its my account that has this outdated client mods, but when I try to delet them it doesn't delete them, it doesn't do anything with them and I'm beyond frustrated.

Help?
