It is one thing to hint to something obviously a joke like the potato cup, but a new character is a major addition to the game which will get a lot of attention and hype. Making it a joke is only going to lower their reputation and potentially damage how much their consumers trust and respect them. You act like this scenario hasn't happened before as an April Fools prank. Besides, it's not like Klei has to worry about stock holders or investors. I'm pretty sure they're still completely independent. I'm just saying that it's still a possibility. I'm not saying that it is, and I'm not saying that it isn't. I'm just saying that it might be a good idea to be a little skeptical around this time of year. And if it does turn out to be a joke, well, they already have our money. Especially seeing as it is claimed that there were numerous lines of dialogue found, but none of it has actually been shown. If people give false hope to others just so they can take it away and laugh. No, that is not something to shrug off. So many people were so happy such as my relatives. When they found out it was just a zoomed in picture, they laughed, no anger, nobody thought of it as "parasitic selfishness" it was on facebook (especially on the internet). See, most people can take a joke, and they get it. The point of April fools is to have a laughing experience. Voxola. In Voxola they made Radios & more-or-less confirmed, WX-78. Clockworks aren't out of the question. Actually if you read, the statement refers to the specific hypothetical outcome of it being a prank. It specifically refers to that outcome which the criticism is directed at. Can only assume you read some other comment that was throwing criticism at, count of five, different possible scenarios as opposed to the one you were replying to which was quite clearly referring to only one outcome. Because, your entire comment is condemning the use of criticism in various situations yet the statement you are referring to blatantly references the only one of these scenarios that is not unreasonable. Which would make little sense because that would mean you would be making up scenarios to condemn when they are obviously not applicable here because the original statement clearly specifies the situation it is directed at.
