[RESOLVED] No sound in dont starve, reverts to 0 when I raise the setting

So I have been wasting countless hours trying to fix this issue. 

Ive read a LOT of things about this to no avail. 

The crash log says:

FMOD Error: Soundcard does not support the minimum features needed for this soundsystem (16bit stereo output). 
SoundSystem::Initialize failed
cDontStarveGame::DoGameSpecificInitialize()
FMOD Error: An invalid object handle was used. 

And then later in it, just a bunch of: FMOD Error: Can't play event dontstarve/HUD/click_mouseover: An invalid object handle was used. 
FMOD Error: Can't play event dontstarve/HUD/click_mouseover: An invalid object handle was used. 
FMOD Error: Can't play event dontstarve/HUD/click_move: An invalid object handle was used.

What ive done

Reinstalled steam

Made steam administrator 

Changed sound settings to what the log said. Nothing. Plez halp

Could you please provide us with your DxDiag? Also, please ensure that your audio drivers have been updated to the latest version.
