SuperPsiPower
I think this thread is accomplishing nothing and should be closed. It's just senseless bickering at this point and no real discussion.

Don't Starve is a survival game that encourages player to browse wiki, and requires to dedicate quite a bit of time to learn the basics. So, the playerbase is either nerds or people that like to waste a lot of time on "hard" videogames... And this type of people tends to care about silly stuff like a "lore" for their game. Now, skins... Skins are a cool concept, and it's not like the whole team works on drawing these things. They were coded back when wardrobe was added, and that's about it. Now they add more stuff from time to time utilizing the coding done back then. What can artists add by themselves when the new content is not yet coded? They can add different skins to the game, that's what.

Or, you know, they could pretend they're drawing cutsy catcoon furry costumes for players to wear (because this is game's a fashion show now), while actually just fighting with sticks and pretending their comfy chairs are pirate ships and have a good ol' time. (kinda joking, don't kill me) I know there's a meme picture of something like this, but I couldn't think of what to search to find it... perhaps someone else can share this? Zeklo
Just because you don't always see the lore doesn't mean it isn't there. Same thing with this thread. I closed my eyes but it's still here!

Paxtonnnn
Someone should rename this topic "Random Pointless Argument Generator - Powered by _Q_!"
_Q_
Pff. If you want to keep both games then start adding content to the second one. Leaving DS without things added to DST are beyond lame.

I love how the main menu of DST actually says "Next build imminent!" right now yet you're still whining about how they don't add anything.
