Can worlds older than the Shipwrecked update(PS4) be linked?

Yep, the title says it all.

I've been wondering, I've spent so much time on an older world just to prepare to merge it with my new SW world.

There's actually an option that pops up on screen when you create a NEW world, but what about the old ones?

If I remember correctly, older worlds can be linked together with Shipwrecked.

It might be repetitive to also describe how to do it, but here I go. An older RoG or base game save can be linked with Shipwrecked. All one has to do is make a Shipwrecked save, find the Seaworthy in that world, and pick a save to link it to when the screen to do so comes up. The character in the RoG/base world will then become a grave (Make sure you find a good place to place their grave if such a thing will bother you.), and all of their possessions will be in it. You'll need a shovel to dig it up.

Wooow, really  Does the grave have a headstone on it as well? Or is it always one without a headstone?

I think it has a headstone. Maybe.
