minespatch
So a lil' history on this piece: I wanted to do a drawing of my Avery and my buddy's character 182, but then my friend told me to wait due to wanting to update the character design. So... Waited a year. I inked this in the hospital while waiting for my father to recover and colored it today. Glad to finally get this piece off my conscious. Hoping to hear what my friend thinks. minespatch
Father is currently working on screenplays for a youtube series he wants to do. So one od the things he wants is a animated rainbow bat flying across the screen. My version is top right.
minespatch
Art of @Raven Crow's Cindy and her two parents Edward and Jacob. They're a family she's been developing for a while now, figured it'd be cute to tackle.
minespatch
This is art from my employer Frans van Baars. While cleaning his office, while organizing, he put this in the trash pile. Instead of throwing away, I scanned it and posted both on facebook and here since I felt it was a nice sketch. One of his clients didn't like the t-shirt design he did, so this is my doodle of the perspective I felt the lighthouse and harbor should've been like. minespatch
Patchy the pith panhandler bumming for cash to Bendy. I was inspired by the Skeleton dance and frames of Goofy as a skeleton. Thought it'd be funny to annoy Bendy. From time to time I like listening to Tom Waits's cover of the song: Spoiler  Due to my boss wanting me to stick around during a skype chat with a relative of his, I doodled him while they talked in Dutch. After I was done, my boss wanted me to show him and he wasn't liking at the wrinkles I added to his face. Sorry, couldn't find a english version of the page but this is the scenario that usually happens when I do caricatures.
minespatch
Dio as a joltik. I was inspired by that plushie that's similar to that meme of Astolpho. Really thought that was Joltik until close inspection. Â

minespatch
Quote I did the lines for this one I imagine about... Six years ago? I intended to digitally color this but I never seemed to have the time. Rectified that today. Really happy I can feel accomplished. The character above is Mr. Balloon, a really REALLY minor character from the defunct and out of print Abadazad book series(thanks for killing it, Disney). I think he might be the main villain in disguise, the Lanky man shares similar design(). The reason I wanted to make this piece since it's a important scene to the protagonist Kate Jamison. She loses her brother by giving into his wish to go onto the boatride after Balloon gives him two tickets. she never sees her brother ever again in the scene. Old doodle of Chimbley Sweep from Iris Jay of deviantart. I really like the character.

Jokes aside, it's cool that you didn't let time be an excuse to ignore something. You have a great work ethic. It's also interesting to see something from an earlier time in your artistic journey.

You have a great work ethic. I found out my work ethic once I figured out the routine I wanted to do with my art: Don't starve/etc/Ds/etc/Ds, so I can rotate with themes on my favorite game and then work on another non-related project after. I'm hoping once me and father are more settled, we can get back to working on the webcomic again(the car crash halted it in hiatus mode). So last or two weeks ago, I wanted to do art of my buddy with the Maxx(in his brer lappin form) but I realized Rhett didn't have a persona. So we talked over a week on what designs, details, and other things the design should go for. This is what we compromised on. A idea I wanted to tackle in 2016 but finished tonight. The gems as the Andrew Sisters singing We Bare Bears. Garnet is played by Estelle, the one who sings the song for the show. So this is the result. geni0529
Awe! The Steven Universe one is such a cute idea, and I love the drawing you did of the clown dude a couple posts back. He doesn’t exactly look creepy, just unnerving, and that makes it all the better.

Yeah, I keep picturing the Andrew Sisters whenever I hear the We Bare Bear theme song that I needed to get this idea out of my head. If Abadazad's future books actually get a continuation, then we'll find out if he is or not the Lanky man but I'm glad you love it. I put a lot of time in that piece but held back from posting since I wanted to digitally color. Worth the wait. I intended on posting these months ago but my father is finally confidant to work on the comic again. We just posted the dialogue for the second comic up on the site. I feel bad for neglecting adding the text earlier due to me being distracted. You can check it out at: underbridgethings.tumblr.com
minespatch
My father wants to start doing illustrated pages for his story "The Breaking Wind" for Underbridge. So he wanted a woodcut style for the art we're doing. Here's the storyboard for this: Despite him not feeling confidant drawing anymore due to the accident mangling his hand, he still managed to make a good piece of art that I could legibly see. minespatch
Benson with his kitty McFluffin. Always wanted to draw these two together but never got the chance until today. Shame he gave this cat away. I also thought it'd be fun to draw Dunwoody in his timeskip design. Â
minespatch
@toki-wartoothxx's Kallias and my Barry Brantley as Belle and Prince Adam. Just thought it'd be fun to draw them like this. Very nostalgic tackling characters I barely get in touch with anymore. Barry looks a tad different from my previous concepts on him but I like the purple jawline emphasizing the skeletal nature of his necromancy. minespatch
Request from my father two years ago. He wanted a parody of the Famous Studios version of Casper fused with JAsper from Steven Universe. This was the result. The background's lazy since I didn't really understand the aesthetic of the background.
minespatch
This one I did all the way back in high school. I was really inspired by Ronald Searle's design of John Wellington Wells and wanted to do a Wizard, especially with my constant listening to the Flaming Lips's "The wizard turns on". Came up with this occult type of art. HAd fun going with some wild color combos. Drew it on a Der Weinerschnitzel paper liner(hence why the alignment is all over the place in my scan). I used to go crazy with shading. A piece I did five years ago originally. Went for a shonen manga vibe with this one. In retrospect, the girl's face is kind of ugly compared to what I can draw now. I was just really obsessed with trying to avoid "Same face syndrome" when studying faces. I remember this piece taking me so long to make to understand how four arms would work and just finding the right references of the back of a baseball stadium. So this piece was hell to work on environment wise. My earlier drawing of her. Prefer her face here compared to the final product. Inks. You can see what it took. The paper now looks really destroyed due to how long I waited to digitally color.
