I've been thinking about Wyatt a TON, and I really love this design. However, as much as I love the ponytail, I don't feel like it would suit the game, as well as it would be an annoyance to animate. Mind if I just go over a quick (crappily drawn) redesign to situate him more with the 1900s-1920s theme...WIN_20160605_15_15_00_Pro.jpg

So when I saw your picture, I was in love with the idea of a sorta lazy lone wolf character, so I imagine Wyatt would be a bit of a wanderer. So Wyatt would have a sort of different backpack setup that would be equipable in the hand slot (a semi-easy to make stickbag w/ 10 slots) that would encourage a sort of nomadic playthrough (Downside to this is that Wyatt wouldn't be able to use a backpack). Wyatt would have a tad faster walk speed, but would go a bit insane if he stayed in the same area for long. (Not sure how that would work :/ ) Finally, his lil hat would be the thing that keeps him 'classy' i.e. raises his sanity slightly. It would take up the head slot, and have infinite durability; however, if you took it out of the head slot, the durability (and Wyatt's sanity) would fall drastically, making sure that players don't just swap back and forth between Gibby and something else.

Also, the hat's name is Gibby because a gibus named Gibby. 

Not sure if it's going to be a Lucy or just something Wyatt pretends to talk to from time to time. Reminder, early phase of design. Speak up if you disagree :D

Hehe, I like that cute bag and the idea is great, although I feel like I should mention that pigtails are ridiculously easy to make, especially if there's only 1. It's only 3 different textures (I believe) and then the magic happens. Downside being that it'd be titled to one side and be a bit uneven, but no ones perfect.

Man, a hobo is just great for him. The revamp is great!  I'd still keep Scoobie's suggestion about the pigtails.

If we do keep the pigtails, can we not make them straight? I understand that I'm being very pushy with this, but I feel like more scraggly, odd pigtails would fit the game a tad better. I don't know- something about the greasy sleek pigtails look unnerves me :p But let's go with what you guys like the most. :D

You could probably keep it straight with trial and error in whatever you're using to edit them. I'm pretty sure the game puts extra tilt on them, so they're more crooked in game than in editor. I'm not really sure, I've only made pig tails once and they were kinda rushed.

Idea for Wyatt, The Hobo:

Health: 140

Sanity: 130

Hunger: 150 (Loses hunger x0.70, Normal Wilson: x1.0)

He can eat ANY kind of food with no penalty

He can eat stale/spoiled food with no sanity/health loss BUT still only gains the amount of hunger based on its spoilage.

Rain doesn't make him lose much sanity as he is used living in the streets.

Because he is a bit "naked" and weak he loses a +20% amount of damage, examples:

Clockwork Knight's Damage: 48 (Normal 40)

Bee's Damage: 12 (Normal 10)

Spider's Damage: 24 (Normal 20)

Spider Queen's Damage: 96 (Normal 80)

Depths Worm's Damage: 90 (Normal 75)

Ancient Guardian's: 120 (Normal 100)

Special Item: Not so fancy Top Hat:

Wyatt ONLY gains a +4.4 per minute sanity

Costs 3 silk, 1 rope and 2 twigs to craft

Lasts for 3.5 days

Everyone else loses a -3.6 per minute sanity when they wear it.

Second Special Item: Scarred Bindle (Just Google it)

Acts like a small backpack which you can carry IN your inventory!

Gives a +2 (Maybe 4 but it's to OP) inventory spaces so you basically gain a +1 inventory space if you think about it.

Recipe: 2 Twigs 3 silk (Optional: 1 rope)

Can be burned for 3 seconds (burns VERY fast)

Left on the floor for 1 day will break into 1 twig and 1 silk (Optional: 2 cut grass)

Scrapped Idea(s):

He loses only 50% sanity on darkness

Other players when near him lose a -1.4 sanity per minute

Creaky Fishing Rod: Works like a fishing rod but has 15 uses and a small delay before catching a fish (Normally it takes 5 seconds to catch a fish first BUT with the Creaky Fishing Rod it takes 10 seconds as first and after you catch one fish adds a +3.5 timer instead of normally +5)

Idea for Wren, The Mechanic:

Health: 150

Hunger: 175 (x1.15 loss)

Sanity: 250

He starts with 2 gears can craft any "Scientific" structure for half the material price

He doesn't understand magic so he requires double the materials to craft magical items.

He also requires double materials for Thulecite items.

Gains sanity near "Sciense" structures (+2.4 per minute)

Loses +100% sanity from magic items (Including staffs)

When he places walls they are already level 2 and reguire only 1 more wall to make it level 3 for example:

Stone Wall's normal health when placed is 200 (Maximum 400) Wren's placed walls have a 300 Health and adding 1 more wall on it gives it a +100 health (So level 3 immediately)

Special item(s):

Wooden Wrench: (No research lab required)

Has 1 Use (Can only break 1 structure only)

Can be used to hammer structures giving you 100% of the items back

Deals 14 Damage

Recipe: 3 Twigs 2 Logs 1 Rope

Rock-y Wrench: (Alchemy Engine)

Recipe: 3 Twigs 5 Rocks 2 Rope

Has 5 Uses

Can be used to hammer structures giving you 100% of the items back

Deals 34 Damage

Golden Wrench: (Alchemy Engine)

Recipe: 4 Twigs 5 Gold Nuggets 2 Rope

Has 20 Uses

Can be used to hammer structures giving you 100% of the items back

Deals 40 Damage.

(Bonus: Hitting Clockworks with Wrenches gives it health)

He can use hes wrenches to fix Broken Clockwork with 3 hits

He somewhat hates vegetables he only gains 70% Health/hunger/sanity from them (Including crock pot recipes)

Starts with a Handy Pack which gives 4 inventory spaces

Recipe: 4 silk 2 rope

Always able to craft it.

He doesn't know HOW to craft a Science Machine so he can only make a Alchemy Engine (He has the knowledge to craft electrical doodads,cutstone,boards,rope.)
