"Oh, yeah sure. Good luck!"

Halan goes back to cooking and placing carrots on the rock

Stay safe. That's sweet, but I shouldn't be in any dangers he-

Aaaand he starts bleeding on the carrot he was cutting, as he clumsily cut his hand instead

"Well... love is... when you... uhh..." Arca shook her head.

"I am not sure how to explain it. The Scalae who used ranged weaponry were always talking about it. I would say, it is when two individuals show affection for each other. And then..."

"--uhh, yeah. That is how I would describe it." She says akwardly.

7 hours ago, DwerBomb said:

(uhm guys, the mandrake died :b)

(I liked to think it didn't. I knew I should have asked is we could make this one immune to sunlight -_- )

Red looked at it. "Oh well" he shrugged "atleast we can still eat it" He picked up the mandrake by the leaves. "I'm gonna go cook this" he said and walked away.

He walked past Halan, though he didn't notice he had cut himself. As Red went to cook it, it let out a loud scream causing him to faint.

"Oh, I have multiple! There was this one time I had to supply medical assistance during battle. One of my comerades was grievously wounded by another group, which used the ranged weapon: the bow! Our team was specialised in melee combat but thankfully, we knew very well how to deflect their ammunition. Anyways, during that time I had to figure out the creation of bandage by myself, since our medic was out in the field. Strangely enough, making it was easier than applying it, mostly because I did not have anything with me to keep it together. What matters is, we won in the end. Victory for team Aquamarine!" Arca had a lot of fun telling that memory.

Conner came back to the group with the skinned and gutted rabbit. He went to find Sylvia since she cooked before and walked up to her. "Hey I uh, I can't cook since if I do it's much more likely to be burn, raw or possible both at the same time. Sooo.." he said as he wasn't quite sure how to ask her and decided to just smile awkwardly.

Matthew finally finished his weaving - it wasn't perfect, but it was sturdy enough to hold up, at least for a while. He handed the piece to Art, and was about to ask Bell if she wanted to eat breakfast with him when he was interrupted by an earsplitting screech nearby. Startled, he ran over to where the sound originated from and saw a red squirrel by the fire, sleeping next to a grilled plant of some sort. He knelt down, then gently picked up the squirrel and began checking if it was hurt.

Art wanted to try replanting it despite its very dead appearance and then Red decided to cook it. Then it screamed and Red was out for the count. Art stood there for several long moments in surprise and shock.
"This place is so messed up" She finally managed to squeeze out.
"Um... thanks Matt" Art said and decided to let the others check on Red, she couldn't bring herself to squeeze in there and add to the confusion. She grabbed the woven grass and took some with twigs and began creating a crude backpack of sorts.
"Who wants to try out the back pack?" She set it aside and got to work on some sort of sleeping bag or something. At least maybe tonight everyone would have a mat to sleep on? She counted the mats, maybe not.

It had been several hours since he had tormented them, Maxwell looked about the place he occupied. Charlie was curling around his chair contently.
"Shall we?" He asked and then smirked.Of course they would toy with them. He dropped a few new people off in a site half a day's walk from the rest of them. Then considered what else he could drop on this little group. He needed to complete the initial stages before moving on. He chuckled and dropped in a Tall bird to stalk and attack them.

*

Art was playing with grass when she heard a loud echoing cry. She looked up and saw a giant bird with longest legs she had ever seen and a single enormous eye.
"What the hell is that?" She said as the bird started striding towards them its eye went from yellow to red and it screeched with indignation.
"RUN!" She yelled and grabbed Matthew's hand pulling him along with her as she started to run.

"I don't know wha-aaAAH!" Matthew's attempt to answer Sylvia was cut off when Art grabbed hold of his arm and started running. Her grip was hard enough to hurt, but once he glanced back at the enormous bird bounding towards them in a flurry of squawks and screeches, the pain suddenly became a lot less important. He sprinted as hard as he could to keep Art's pace, taking quick, raspy breaths as he tried not to imagine how quickly the bird could catch up to them on those long, spindly legs.

Art gracelessly tripped over a tree stump.
"Keep going!" she told Matthew having let go of him when she tripped. She scrambled to her feet again as the awkward trio of TOM, Connor and Bell went past her. Tim was up a tree, having evaded the bird more cleverly than the others. The bird however seemed to have a serious dedication to either getting Art or Matt. Art having found her feet again was forced to dive to one side as a very large razor sharp beak pecked where she had just been.

"AHHHH!!!!!" She screamed as she got to her feet again and this time wasted no time looking for the bird but rather started to sprint after the others determined not to become bird feed. The Tall bird screeched its agitation at having missed and continued its pursuit of them.
