Wave after Wave

The Eldersome starts smashing and slashing at the ship with its talons, shrieking and wailing.  Jaw's bite doesn't seem to have a whole lot of effect, though a sour-tasting blue liquid leaks from the wounds he inflicts.  Forget holes in the ship, this thing is practically getting ripped in half.

Meanwhile Trevor is stuck right in the middle of where the Tursai is slashing at the vessel.

Gyx returned above deck, whiping his hands. and saw a giant Eldersome attacking the ship. He quickly gurgled and ran back beneath the deck. He stepped around Angelle and gathered his materials: A jar of Soil, A pint of Deep-milk, and a bowl of Bioluminescence.

He took Angelles bone and kicked her(not physically, stay cool Famen) out of her spot as he slit his hand with a knife and started creating a circle with the charred corpse in the center. He had to work fast.

Unfortunately for Trevor, there was only one part of his body that wasn't fast enough to evade the rapid slashing of the Eldersome. His bad leg. As Trevor tried to escape, his bad leg was caught on one of the Eldersome's talons, right below the knee. The large beast took no notice of this really, and continued to slash, painfully slicing Trevor's bad leg off, and making the deck into redwood. [Right below the knee.]

Trevor became stiff as a board with eyes wide open, clearly in shock.

The crew's efforts prove to be too little too late.  The Eldersome rears up, all its claws at the ready; then it finally strikes down, punching clear through the ship's decks and annihilating most of the cargo bay.  An entire adventuresworth of loot, lost to the incalculable depths!

Another blow, and the ship starts to buckle.  Water rushes into the underbelly of the vessel, starting to tip it onto its side.  Trevor is the first to slide to the railing, slamming into it painfully.  This does not help his leg; neither does the saltwater rushing into it.

Jaw is lifted up and thrown in the water. He observes the ship being torn apart and panics, swimming in circles.

He then smells a good scent...oh, blood! Oh no!! But it was Trevor!!

When the guy falls in the water screaming Jaw rushes to catch him and lifts him so that he doesn't drown

(Ssetting the mood with music? TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME)

Spoiler

Syndir's apathetic cheering had came to a halt upon seeing Trevor. He turned his head, but in an instance the boat was torn asunder or rather asyndir amirite. Time didn't seem to slow, as it had so many times before. In this instance, everything seemed to happen at once, and he couldn't take it all in. The flooring came up behind him and knocked him clear off his feet. He was falling and only water greeted him down below. Whether by an act of luck or misfortune, the two extended horns on his mask caught onto railing and left him dangling from his head. While this delayed his inevitable plummet, it put considerable strain on his neck, and forced him to take hold with his hands. The action did help in relieving some of the stress, but his arms would not be strong enough to sustain the position for long. An unseen result to this, had also been the loss of his staff which he had lost hold of, and was no where to be seen.

The water was getting ever closer as the ship continued its submersion, but Syndir had stopped struggling. Urgency was not present in his endeavor to stay alive. Something else in this particular scene had caught his attention. It was almost familiar. The cold, was familiar. He hated the cold. People around him that he—No, he had revoked the right to declare these lot people he cared about. He had intended to send them all to their death. Whether or not his plan was a success the intent behind it was all the same. For someone to willingly sacrifice those around them, even if only to try, there must be something inertly incorrect about them. He had always known it of course, but it was his fear that kept him accepting it. So much time had been spent trying to mimic the self that he had lost and the self he never was. As a result he neglected to stay true to himself. It was his cowardice that had caused this.

Now was his time to finally stop relying on everyone around him. He took a deep breath.

Gyx was too busy working on the corpse to notice Angelle was in danger, or even that the ship was falling apart. He dumped the milk down the charred corpses throat. He put the dirt into the bowl of Bioluminescence, creating a glowing serene mud. Gyx hurrily opened his wound and dropped one last drop of his purple blood into the bowl of Geoluminescence, and poured it down the throat. He then spoke the incantation

"Bgh thgh mrghcy ghf rghtrnghd lghf, whghch hghs ghlwshs bghn dghst shghl bghcghm ngh dghst. Rghs, mygh srghvnt!"

Gyx picked up the corpse and ran upstairs with it, leaving Angelle behind. Just when it seemed the poor doggo was in danger, Crab rowed towards her in a tiny raft, just big enough to fit her. He threw out a tiny life preserver out towards her.

Kate hadn't gone below deck like Nadas had told her to. Being the curious child she was, she instead stayed peaking around the door frame with the blanket draped around her shoulders and small Noctimus in her hand. She watched the lizard lady run off and help pull Trevor onto the deck, but she was completely caught off guard by the very unfriendly sea monster that appeared soon after and slashed it's hands at the ship, tiling it suddenly and making her slam into the door frame.

Everything happened so quickly. The monster was tearing the ship to shreds. Some of the crew members went to attack, some tried to run away. Even Kade had rushed to defend the ship with his shadowy sword, the marks left by the blade going unnoticed in the chaos. She was frozen, mind teetering between reactions. She was just standing there. She had to do something. Her legs and arms wouldn't move.

There was red, blood, running down the deck, but before she had time to process or identify it's source, the ship lurched violently, throwing her out as it almost went sideways. The lower half of her body slammed into the railing before she plummeted into the ocean.

Dragon had taken off soon after the sea monster stated attacking, and had taken to circling around it's head trying to gouge at it's eyes when she could. The attempt was futile though. The monster wrecked the ship just the same.

"We have to do something!" Otto shouted. Otto looked down at the water... no, he couldn't go diving in after what had just happened. That would be suicide.

He looked at the boat. Too far down to jump down and land without injury. He saw some ropes. Aside from getting slight rope burn, he could get down to the ship safely but they were too far away. There was only one possible option...

"Malii" Otto said, surprisingly calmly "Think you can put me back on the boat that's currently being eaten? I think my friends could use my help. Well... whatever an otter with a hat can do"

Alot was happening at the same time, and Cinis was looking around just trying to keep track of everything. When the boat got smashed, he jumped off and started flying a little above it- right then he witnessed Kate slamming into the railing.
"BAHAHAHAHAHAH!!" He couldn't stop laughing. The sight of Kate smashing into a railing was very comical in his head

When he reopened his eyes, he didn't see the girl anywhere anymore.

"Hahah... hang on... where has the poor child gone to...  oh." He saw a silhouette in the water where she would have dropped. "Pfff..." He complained, placing his palm on his head. He flew over to the spot and started grasping in the water, hoping to grab her out.

--

Viridis, who was hanging by her tail on the boat, had climbed back up using some sick acrobat moves- though right as she was back on board it got destroyed, sending her flying, and landed right on top of Malii. "Waaaaa!! Help!" she yelled, thinking she was going to plunge in the water, sinking.

"a-a-aaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Malii just realized that the carnage and destruction was going on.

"i-it's okay malii... you got t-this..."

After a terrible attempt at calming herself down, she began scooping up people into her claws, Viridis included.

(You can decide if you've been rescued)

(If people who are helping Trevor are rescued, he is rescued too.)

Everything happened too quickly ever since the sea-monster appeared and Jaw started too attack one of its claws.
Sooner than later the ship was being struck hard by the hostile creature, and Nadas couldn't help but gasp and hang on to something quickly, possibly the railing. Was it a railing, yes, it was. She grasped at the wooden surface tightly until she realized the ship was actually about to sink. The blood and the violence started to surround her, and it made her freeze in place. She quickly steadied herself and tried to make a run for it, perhaps swim towards the closest island? But the underwater beast... What of the beast?! The lizard lady started to pant nervously, and her thoughts were interrupted by the loud shriek of the shaman-looking person. She did not trust shamans, but this one was part of the crew, and she couldn't just let him hang there by the railings. Nadas, after some hesitation, attempted to shorten distances between her and Syndir. "Shaman...!" she shouted at him, calling him that way because she didn't know his name; extending a hand when she was close enough, lending him her aid. "Quickly, take my hand!" her body shook and shivered thanks to the cold and the fact that the ship was a constantly wiggling floating thing. A perilous place to stay, indeed.

It didn't take long for Cinis to fish Kate, conveniently backside up, out of the water. She coughed a bit, disoriented by the fall and the plunge. The spot across her lower back where it'd hit the railing was in pain. "N- Noctimus!" She cried out after regaining her breath and bearings. She started to feel the heat radiating off the lava dragon, and shuddered.

Dragon had still been trying to attack the monster, but the cries from the shiny giving human person and lizard kin caught her attention. The ship was going down quickly, and the human person looked stuck, but if she stopped to help, the sea serpent would turn it's attention back to ripping up the vulnerable crew. Thus she renewed her ferocity, diving at one of the larger eyes with beak and claw, roaring admittedly childish taunts at it's face.

"Hey! Your face looks like a butt! Your mother was a dodo and your father smelled of coconuts!"
