Perhaps a dragon and not a dragoon, but at the very least their sounds were frighteningly similar. He clenched his chest tightly.The otter would be fine, so he could just hang low. That'd be the smart thing to do. ... Syndir shot to his feet. "OH MAN THIS GOLDEN HAND OF MINE IS REALLY SHINY." He shouted nonchalantly towards the off side of the boat, and raising his left hand in the air. "YOU KNOW IT'S PROBABLY THE SHINIEST THING ON THIS BOAT. WOW. She scrabbled and thrashed, flapping her wings panickedly to try to escape the sudden grip around her mouth. Gold and jewels were sent scattering across the deck of the ship by her mad scramble. ~~~~ Kate had long since slunk away to the cargo hold to escape from everyone for a while. She was now sitting next to the crate she fell into, holding the unresponsive plush and cocooning herself in the blanket for comfort as she continued to wallow in her own misery and self pitty. Then Famen shielded himself and Otto with an umbrella he did not recognize. Where the heck did that come from? Then Syndir started shouting something about a shiny hand. "What the hel-?" Then Cinis grabbed Dragon's mouth, clamping it shut. Dragon was thrash and flailing. "Guys!" Otto shouted, then said to Dragon "I wasn't planning on taking any of your damned treasure! Atleast not at that moment" A shiny was knocked over to Otto's feet when Dragon was still thrashing. He looked at it. It was so shiny he could see himself in it. His thoughts were cloudy and his vision was blurry, but he was still vaguely aware of lots of clattering and roaring above him. He wasn't quite sure what was causing the noise, but one thing was for sure - he did recognize that bark. He tried to focus his energy into speech...though unbeknownst to him, he may have gotten the recipient wrong. "ИOC, WHAT'Ƨ GOIИG OИ?" (Mena can decide for herself if Kate + Kade can hear this one. Kate sniffled and slowly peeked out of her blanket at the sound of the familiar squeak, and then retreated back in and tried to back up further against the wall. Kade had been sitting beside her, trying to figure out how to make his sister feel better, so took this opportunity to speak. "Kate, Noctimus knows you weren't trying to hurt hi-" Then both siblings heard a voice, and took equally confused expressions. They had heard that voice before, they just... couldn't put their finger on when or where at the moment. The only one's here where Noctimus and... "Wiffleball?"
