The dragon lifted her head to look at the new sea monster.

...

Dragon put her head back where it was.

Kate looked up. At first she thought the tursai was Meri, but the voice was different and this one had fewer eyes. The initial confusion helped take her mind off the fire, and her own flickering slowed and died down.

Gilda turns to Meri. A friend? A sibling? Who cared, Jaw was more important right now.

Wheke walks over to the new beast. "Brilliant! We have more scary sea monsters! Take us to the reef, stat!" Wheke waits expectantly.

Viridis heard a voice that she hadn't heard before. She turned her head and saw another Tursai looking at the boat from the water. "Hi! Who... are you, if I may ask?" She asked with a friendly face.

---

Cinis noticed another larger creature near the boat. He was going to stop it, but it didn't attack the others yet. Keeping a close eye on them, he kept flying circling above the boat.

Wiffleball? concentrated hard, thought of a place where he'd be safe, and willed himself to vanish. The few shreds that remained of him warped into nothingness. When Wiffleball? was able to regain his focus, he found himself...on a beach. Again. He dropped his head to the sand, and was about to give up entirely until he noticed a thin, black line running in front of him. Nightmare fuel, no doubt. He perked up. Was some other shadow hurt? Hope burned inside him - maybe he could find help! And besides, it wasn't like he had any idea where else to go, anyways. He began pulling himself along the ground with the few legs that hadn't been chopped off entirely, following the trail to its source.

When he saw the line's end in the distance, he noticed that it didn't just trail off. Instead, it stopped at a hole in the sand - a crabbit hole! He scraped along the sand as fast as he could, losing a limb in the process. He ignored it, though, and managed to reach the hole anyways. Turns out, though, inside wasn't a friendly shadow like he'd hoped, but rather, just an ordinary pool of fuel. He gave a small sigh and tried to pull himself back out, but found he lacked the strength to even do that. In fact, he was...actually sliding forwards. He desperately scrabbled at the edges and tried not to fall, but was unable to escape. He fell in with a plunk.
...
The fuel rippled, then began to shift. It began taking a new form, and an indistinct shape rose up from the goop. Slowly, two stubby legs formed from it, then a head. Two back legs followed as the rest of the fuel turned inside out, forming a shadowy fire at the end of his body. Now reformed, Wiffleball? stood there for about a minute before a huge grin broke out on his face. He'd never felt this refreshed in his entire life! He crawled out of the hole with ease, then began following the trail of fuel back. He had an odd feeling it would lead him somewhere good.

(So... Noctimus isn't a baby? *is confuse*)

Dragon's head shot up at the unmistakably familiar sound of a harpoon going off and sinking into flesh. She rapidly spun around to face the culprit, taking a threatening stance with her wings spread, and hissed angrily. It looked like she was about to bite off some heads if he didn't put that thing away.

~~~~~
Kate, startled and frightened by the sudden chaos, let out a short scream and cowered with her hands over her head.
Syndir awoke to the sound of a scream. Then soon enough it was him that was screaming. He turned away from the large fish thing only to see a not so happy dragon. He wasn't sure what upset them, but they looked frightening so he turned back to the tursai and then back at the dragon and then back again over and over.
Silven looked up form his journal, what was it no- oh it was a Markless, Tursai?  So this must be related to the Markless Tursai of huge origin, and this one is also huge! And it have an object stuck in it which is causing it to make a high noise. He looked around trying to figure out what was going on really. One of the Markless creatures seemed the angry, or he thought so which meant that they must be both the angry. It was logical to quickly find a hiding place.
Viridis angrily looked at Gyx. "Gyx! Why... would you do such a thing!" looking back at the younger Tursai, she hastily thought of something. She got onto the railing, jumped and used her wings to lengthen the duration of her staying in the air, and landed on Malii. "I am sorry if this... hurts." She said and pulled out the harpoon, only now realizing she was stuck on a Tursai.
Wiffleball blinked a few times and looked up from the potato, seemingly dazed from the experience. It didn't say anything, just looked around at the ship and its surroundings as it silently mulled over what had just happened. Finally, it turned to Noctimus.
"...Is that all you wanted to show me?"  Its tone, while still commanding, had just the slightest trace of pity to it.
