MigiTheApex
I know Caves are effected by the season on the surface, but haven't been able to find a definitive answer as to what degree. Is it equally as hot/cold in summer/winter as the surface, or do the caves provide some insulation? I'm on my first RoG play through at day ~350 and have decided to go spelunking now that my surface base is complete. In timing my spelunking trip, I'm trying to ascertain how much I need to accommodate seasonal changes while I'm down there in terms of gear since inventory space is limited and I'll be exploring. WillPwn4Food
Autumn has not effect Winter is slightly warmer, but you still need fires and good clothing Spring has constant light dripping regardless of surface world weather Summer is slightly cooler, but overheating still becomes an issue
Maslak
Just don't spelunk in spring, it's bad idea due to the constant rain. Autumn is easy cause it's autumn. Summer is easier than winter imo, cause snow Chester and two thermal stones is everything you need (and there is no fire Chester). In winter thermal stone and materials for some fires should be enough, so it's not that hard.

It's essentially no concern to anybody but WX78.
