DragonMage156 Posted October 14, 2018 Author Share Posted October 14, 2018 Just realized I've neglected to post my new OC Shelly here ^^; I've told some people about it but incase you don't use Discord (or not in any shared groups), Shelly is an anthro snail OC my brain decided to conceive at 3am. She doesn't have much of a personality yet but I can share some traits and quirks about her. -She has to wear shoes (and sometimes gloves but her hands aren't usually that slimy) whenever she goes out or else she'll leave behind slime prints. -She carries a shell on her back but it's more like her personal room/backpack than a portable house (she doesn't want to upgrade and have a big bulky thing on her back, despite not being able to fully fit into it anymore). -She has a t-shirt that says "Shell Shocked" -Her antenna aren't eyes (I tried it out but it didn't look good nor match the vision I had of her). I'd still argue last year's goretober was better but uploading almost 30 images is still just as painful. Day 1: Extra Limbs Spoiler Two years in a row where Ted is cursed with extra limbs. Atleast the first submission is light in terms of gore. Day 3: Playing with Knives Spoiler Oh man, second time encountering your evil self from the alternate universe. Day 4: Horns Spoiler Instead of gore, I drew a new dragon character. I wish I had kept the electricity around her forehead horn from the draft but atleast the eyes look good ^_^ Day 5: Hey Batter Batter Spoiler Combined with barbed wire, this is still one of my best goretober pieces of 2018 ^_^ Day 6: Drowning Spoiler I need to practice my blood in water physics (as well as my sea dragon in different poses) ^^; Day 8: Oh So Many Eyes Spoiler Eh, could be worse (Oh yeah you can actually see the slime on her feet and tail here. They were absent in my first concept). Day 10: Hanakaki Spoiler Not that experienced with hanakaki so still not too sure what's possible. I got it growing out of Fera's chest... Day 11: Scratches Spoiler More like "gashes and lacerations" ^^; Day 12: Let the Blood Stream Spoiler I refrained from drawing a literal blood stream but hey, you get to see Dino before he got goggles and a belt (... and the metal arm...) Day 13: Insects (was almost changed to Holes) Spoiler I've been on the fence about wanting to make a bug OC for quite sometime. Well let's say this prompt helped me make a decision. I just hope this isn't the last time I draw him as well as the first ^^; Day 14: Bruises Spoiler Otto often isn't successful in his stunts. Good for him too, this one involved a croc infested lake. Day 15: Nosebleed Spoiler I guess Otto's secretly salty about his stunt gone wrong. He blames Sal for that tree being in the way ( ._.) (btw Otto isn't this violent especially towards Sal, I just did it for goretober). Day 17: Electrocution Spoiler I didn't have a victim for Stormy so I just drew a really cool image ^_^ also, he still have his tail fins (I know it's crooked, shush). Day 19: Eye Trauma Spoiler I'm good at drawing eyeballs it seems Day 20: Inner Beauty (was almost frostbite but I didn't know how to draw frostbite and I didn't want to look it up ^^; ) Spoiler I unintentionally have Red Wilson's mad scientist goggles Day 21: Ripped Apart Spoiler Ooh rough day (I wonder if it would have looked better with less details on the stuffing). Day 22: Experiment Spoiler First look at evil Dino (also stole Wilson's goggles. Man that must be the new "mad scientist" trend). Day 23: Tongue (changed from Gouge it Out) Spoiler Yeah not one of the better ones. Atleast you get a better look at her collar. It's to do with alt Ria's lore (I think I added too many scratches to it though ( ._.) ) Day 24: Amputation Spoiler I think I was running out of inspiration at this point. Also I came to the conclusion that Batsy is his own subspecies of fruitbat given how different his colouring and anatomy is. Day 26: Starvation (changed from Dinner is Served. Seriously, who do I hate enough to serve on a silver platter?) Spoiler I know, missed opportunity to draw something DS related but I hadn't drawn my Undertale OC, Ravel, in a while. I drew his feet well >u< The reason he's staving is related to the genocide route. There's more info on DA but the short version is no one is left to make any food after all the shops have been raided. Day 27: Revenge Spoiler Red isn't actually this vengeful but again... goretober. This is after the villain took away someone very dear to him. Day 28: Hunted Down (was almost Cannibalism but I couldn't think of a good enough idea) Spoiler The Realm of Darkness is a pretty rough place, especially if you're at the bottom of the food chain. Day 29: Sewn Together/Stitches Spoiler Non stitched version cos he's a cutie: Spoiler  When I started the challenge I was thinking of something akin to Frankenstein but by the time I got to this prompt, I wasn't feeling up for drawing a mixed up animatronic so have a Draco plush who has seen better days ^^; Day 30: Till Death do Us Part Spoiler Not as tragic as AretMaw's prompt but this gave birth to a more tragic/angsty AU. Day 31: Aftermath Spoiler Was way too lazy to do anything bigger (like a huge Happy Halloween where every one is fixed up) so a broken Red after loosing his beloved (this is only the beginning of a very sad story). After goretober, I uploaded a Dino piece I actually sketched before the challenge So Many Ideas: I feel ya, Dino. Like you're blueprints and invention ideas, I feel like that with my draw list. Surprisingly it's the only fan-made species I haven't make an OC for >u<;; 2. Roll buddies (just when I think I know all your OCs, you surprise me with another one ^^; ) 3. Alternate/evil Dino. It's from an alternate universe/timeline where all my OCs are evil or more edgy (a dark AU if you will). In the movie 9, there's machines that try to steal the stitchpunks. That's one of my favorites too. 3. Fun fact: Horns almost had electricity as well but I didn't want to rick ruining the drawing. First one was a draft I didn't feel like finishing: Someone on DeviantArt made a crossover character dubbed Ori Sans I couldn't help but see Gumo as Papyrus. However I can't really draw Gumo so I left the image like this Confused Ori: This is actually half of a whole drawing but I liked the result so I inked it. That's how it goes! Happens to everyone. Professional artists complain a lot about this same phenomenon. I guess people get accustomed to what you usually do, so when something a little different comes up they are more surprised and interested. That's just one theory, though.
