"SYSTEM NAME: TURNER. LOCATION: ANTON... UNABLE TO CALCULATE TRAJECTORY WITHOUT NAVIGATION UNIT..." The robot was a pathetic mess. To be detailed about it's condition, the only thing Ethel brought in was the machines torso containing the basic command system and almost nothing else. Additional parts might be strewn about outside and in the hands of the creatures that salvaged it.

Here's how it's gonna go if the group decides to actively search for more parts.

Valuable parts of Turner have been taken by the creatures that you attacked earlier. The more pieces you find, the better Turner will be when you put him back together. This means you have to find where the creatures are hiding out at and possibly have to battle them, and whatever they may create with the pieces when you get there. Turner is a valuable companion to have as he is very resourceful and powerful, as long as you have more pieces. It's practically a quest, the more parts you can find the better.

"Well, it's busted, and missing some stuff. We gotta find what it's missing and it will be less useless, I bet." Wunan grumbled, standing up with support of his staff. "What a chore."

"Sounds like a plan."

Ethel throws his apple core into the fire, and exits the inn. He tries to see if there are any parts in his immediate vision.

(Aren't a bunch of people waiting on the surface to go to sleep, or something?

And I said Wunan grumbled twice. Whoopsies.)

Wunan followed Ethel lazily, dragging his staff behind him.

Ethel makes his way to where he saw the glint, and bent down to pick it up.

"Man, I feel like this is Zelda in real life or something."

Ethel holds up the piece and happy music plays.

What the function of the piece was is indiscernible, but something odd occurred. A dark purple haze rolled across the ground passed Ethel and Wunan's feet and it made its way across the whole town. The sky seemed to spin and the surfacers (the official name for people on the surface) began to feel dizzy.

"What's going on... get... inside..."

Ethel takes a few wobbly steps, before falling to his knees.

"No... keep going..."

Ethel falls to his side, unable to keep himself upright.

"I can't.... go on...."

A dark figure rides up on a horse and beats the crap out of everyone before stealing the coincidentally triangular piece

Upon falling to the ground and breathing in the haze, Wunan and Ethel both fell into a deep sleep, and eventually it crept into the inn where Bonnie, Holly, and Opal rested, making them doze off as well.

Everyone in Disparel's lair falls asleep as well...

.........................................................................

The puppets awaken, but see nothing. There was no telling whether their eyes were open or not. An eerie coldness held them in place and a glowing set of purple eyes illuminate the darkness. "Ah, we're all here. At last..." (Everyone is able to speak, but not move. Opal is able to do stuff now too.)

Holly looked around in panic and terror. This place was completely lifeless, barren of any and all vitae. Maddening. She gazed at the eyes, powerless to do anything.

Jakob sighs.  "Wondrous."  He mutters, trying and failing to move.

"Hail, mysterious being.  May I request your name and state of being?"  He speaks in an almost bored voice, as if he's tired of talking with otherworldly entities and just wants to get some rest.  Which is true.

Ethel slowly opens his eyes, until he hears the mysterious voice. His eyes jolt open. Ethel remembers his dream, as well as the voice from the forest.

"I know that voice... who are you? What do you want me?"

Shana, like almost everyone else, was confused and scared. Strangely enough, if it wasn't for the pair of glowing eyes she would be in complete panic right now, having been blinded before.

The eyes disappeared as if it turned around, "This is the shadow realm. You may realize you feel different than you do in the material world. There's obviously something wrong with you in here... Right?" the purple eyes reappear, "You're all having a nightmare, and of course your material bodies cannot exist here. In here you are a manifestation of your sins; all of the conflicts, traumas, all the terrible things that have happened in your life--or committed--are here."

(So basically in the shadow realm you are your character's shadow. You are a physical representation of all the terrible things your character has been through, or committed.)

(Then Jakob would be hilariously OP, given the whole "fought-and-killed-Shadowfall" thing.  Or is that in the future?  Or a past life?  Not sure where the RP is chronologically.)

Holly's shadow was a blue humanoid of withered wood, with holes for eyes, a broken line for a frowny mouth, and a branch in the middle of it's face, forming a nose. . It had some dead swamp leaves around the waist, forming a skirt. It stood slightly slumped, and amber lightly trickled out of the eyeholes.
