Items disapearing before I can take them

it rarely happens

logs from a cut tree simply disappearing

Describe your issue

In the new map engine,

I cut a tree 2logs fell on the left side and a log on the other side,

but when I went to take them the 2logs on the left,they disappeared before I could take them, the other log I could take.

this issue has happened before with rocks, but I considered I just collected them.

Where they by any chance near the shore? Because the shore is slippery and anything that falls near it will get lost at sea.

no, it was simply on the ground, they just vanished before I could take them

Actually after cutting some more trees that ware near the shore the items that ware close to the shore disappeared, so I guess you are right
