(Oh no, I totally did. I stay up waaay to late all the time :p)

Kati, apparently upset that she was unable to tell her new friend of how she had gotten here, not only because she couldn't talk, but also because she had no idea for herself. All she could do was give a half-hearted shrug while solemnly nibbling on her carrot.

Kati began to reach out her hand as if to stop her, but by the time she had done anything, Adri had walked far out of view. She hung her head tiredly, who was this girl? Why was she so friendly to someone she met only moments ago? What an odd girl... As if she were one to talk. (Heh, talk.)

She stood up, she figured that she might as well go look for something more to eat. She wasn't particularly eager to disappoint the only person that had been nice to her for years. She had almost forgotten what it felt like.

Adri searched around in the grass looking for some flint. Then a glimmer in a patch of grass near her she reached for the flint and grabbed it with a sturdy stick she tied the stick and the flint together with grass and started to chop down trees.

(Oh uh... *Ahem*)

Kati wandered out into the epic grassland that stretched out for as far as the eye could see. Finding food here wouldn't be particularly hard, she thought, as there were several berry bushes and numerous carrots dotting the landscape. She found a few twigs, and using a bit of the plentiful grass she weaved a small basket with which to carry her food with. As she plucked berries and picked carrots, she noticed a few small, rabbit-like creatures skittering across the plain, she contemplated trying to capture one, quickly dismissing the idea for a number of, fairly obvious reasons, she wasn't particularly fond of violence anyways.

adri was sweaty and hot so she decided to head back to there makeshift camp till she realized she didn't know the way back.

" Kati! Um.... Kati! "

she glanced around hoping to spot the little friend she had made.

Kati was jarred out of her slight stupor by the faint sound of someone calling for her in the distance. It was her friend. She was looking for her, had something happened? Had she stayed out too long? Had some sort of animal attacked her? She hastily grabbed her makeshift basket and tore off towards the sound of her friends voice, consumed by worry.

adri walks around a little and decides to stop and call for kati again when her foot slips and she falls into pitch darkness.

" AHHHHHH!"

Adri gets up from her current spot and looks around

" great a cave. KATI!!!"

Kati, hearing her friends voice, much clearer, nearer, and louder this time, continued her sprint, her energy and speed refreshed  anew as if she had gotten a sudden second wind. Her running itself, however, was as silent as she was. Even though she had been running on dewy grass interlaced with the occasional patch of cobblestone road, her footsteps made no sound. Kati came upon the hole that her friend had fallen in, although she hadn't known this at the time, she dug her heels into the soft ground, slowing herself to a halt just before she would have suffered the same fate Adri had. She peered into the hole, careful not to trip into it.

Kati, in not wanting to leave her friend behind alone for long, layed down on the ground and stretched her hand as far down into the hole as she could, although it was just out of reach for her friend, she hooked her foot around a nearby sapling and slowly inched herself further forward, careful not to release her grip on the small tree and fall.

(*ding* a new player has entered the realm)

Name: Daniel

Age: 11

Appearance: Moppy black hair... wearing jeans, tennis shoes, a collared shirt and v-neck sweater combo... tanned-ish skin

Traits: Has a strong mind, but a  frail body... very friendly towards animals... is very shy towards people... often talks nervously with people he's not familiar with...

OK (I'm probably gonna meet/run into you two as the story progresses, that alright?)

He wakes up... a soft breeze caressing his cheek...

Daniel: Ngg...

He wakes up... he sits on the grass... he rustles his hair as he looks around... he was in the middle of a field... bees buzzing around...

Daniel: Where... where am I?

In his left hand, a couple of berries... in his right hand, some melted marbles...

Daniel: What are...

Off in the distance, he hears a couple of snorts... grunts... and gurgles... it was a melee!

Daniel: Are... are those pigs, fighting fish people?

Approaching the fray, Daniel takes step on the soft grass... the beasts continue to battle... a pig falls down... Hesitantly, Daniel goes to its side and helps it up...

Daniel: Are... are you OK?

The pigman stares at this child... and pushes him away as a merm thrusts a fist at them...

Daniel runs away... looking back, the pigman is looking after him... and proceeds to punch a merm...
