Killing endless birds without traps

Steps to reproduce

1. drop seeds on the ground next to you

2. wait for unsuspecting bird to fly down

3. hit him before he can take off

Describe your issue

Pretty straightforward. Just drop seeds on the ground, birds will try to land to eat it and immediately fly off when they see you, however you can easily swing at them in this time lapse. i can kill 10-15 birds in a single day without moving from my spot, and additionally each bird has a chance of dropping more seeds on the group, effectively farming seeds, morsels and feathers(not to mention naughty points)
