Greetings!

Now onto my problem -- I'm having an issue updating Don't Starve, I own the expansion as well, gog.com versions, not Steam. When I download v20 (according to the updater) it will update to v22, then try to patch Don't Starve and wind up giving me the following error reports:

C:\Users\Onigami\Documents\Klei\DoNotStarve\UpdaterCache\bin\dontstarve.exe failed hash validation even after update

I'm not sure what to make of any of it, I uninstalled and removed all traces of the game from my computer before re-downloading fresh copies to try a clean install option. Needless to say my efforts proved fruitless.

Is there any knowledge about this particular conundrum, or even a temporary fix available? Aside from the obvious "re-download, re-install, don't update" option.

Thanks for any assistance.

I'm not sure what happened, maybe my mouse glitched and clicked 2 times and accidentally made 2 of the same topic. I can't find how to remove it, so if there is a mod available who can, it would be appreciated greatly.

Thanks again.
