Major Graphics+Mouse issues "Cant Get Version"

Whenever i start the game this happens to me. I do not know what causes it. I have redownloaded the game several times.

There is a major graphics glitch.

another problem is in game my mouse has to be held to the right of something in order for me to do something such as gathering grass or saplings. it does not show on the video though for some reason.
