Map Crash on Death

Steps to reproduce

1 - Enter dangerous area.

2 - Open the map in the same instant that you die.

Describe your issue

I was exploring a swamp island and decided to open my map, but just as I opened it two tentacle monsters erupted form the ground and killed me. The game became unresponsive for several minutes until I decided to exit the game (via task manager).
