Pressing Settings Crashes The Game..

I press on Settings and the whole game just crashes.

Hi!

Well, when i press the tab '' Settings '' in the menu, the whole game just shuts down or crashes.

I have tried to re-install it, but that doesn't work..

HELP ME!

PS.

I can't find any version number.

But it is the latest.

Sounds like it might be failing to read or write from steamapps\common\dont_starve\settings.ini

Or it could be a missing dll from the VCRedist. You could try reinstalling that. It's also in the don't starve folder.
