Issue title

Maxwell stays for a while longer

Steps to reproduce

1. Start a new game

2. Click continue on the "How long can you survive screen"

3. Save and quit while talking to Maxwell.

4. Comeback, and start the game again, he'll be standing there, and when you examine, it says he's condescending.

Describe your issue

He goes away eventually, I think, but I just found it kind of funny.
