Durable houses, candles.

Do you like the idea of durible houses that you are constantly haveing to go and get spider silk, rocks and pig flesh to keep them standing? Also you have to get candles (That also run out of durability.) to keep the inside lit, candles are made with beez wax and grass tufts. Please leave you'r thoughts to this.

Hmmm. Not sure we need houses in Don't Starve. However I support the idea of beeswax candles, however instead of a grass tuft I suggest using "string", which could be crafted from refined silk. :)

Or perhaps Beefalo fur? Not beard hair, because it would restrict the candle to Wilson.

maybe a farm to house animals?

Barns and animal pens have been suggested in the past. My opinion was that barns were just too large... I mean you're a survivor after all, not a farmer. So I opted to suggest that should the Devs deliver on their promise to add in walls, well, then you could create a walled-in area for animals.

I have also been thinking about a storage crate, something that holds a little bit more than a chest. Do you think that could be somthing that could be implemented to the game?

Why candles? We already have the miners helmet and pumpkin lanterns. I agree about having a house(More or less), but more like an extension of the straw roll than a permanent house. After all, it's about survival, not building a civilisation.
