Wickerbottom gasped as she slowly rose out of the ground, a garland of flowers lopsidedly upon her head. Most of them were already here, unconscious in the grassy field around them. She had already prepared most of it. The books were on the ground beside them. The obelisk was in view, though partially blocked by the forest surrounding it. And as for the locket... it'd be best to keep it away from the rest for now. Brushing that off her mind, she then walked to the center of the others.

"Honestly, I'm quite sorry this is happened to you. But I've given you what I can. Now run."

And then she sank back through the yellowed grass.

Bekuno's eyes blink open and her field of vision shows nothing more than a landscape of yellow grass. The ache in her body hit her hard as she began to lift herself up and she wondered what she had been doing the night before. A group of bodies and books surrounded her and a panic began to set in before she realized they were only unconscious, not dead.

She picked up the familiar blue book next to her, a copy of John Green's 'The Fault In Our Stars'. Finn had a copy of this book in their bedroom, she remembered it being popular a decade ago but never had any interest in reading it. She pauses and looks it over, then glaces at the group. Turning back to the book she starts to open it but a stirring movement in the corner of her eye startles her, and she takes off in a random direction and hides behind a tree to watch the group while avoiding confrontation.

Ferro opened eyes. Around him were forest, some grass and... other people.

He still was very thirst and hungry. He tried to stand up. No way. His energy were gone. He panically need something to eat and drink.

He saw a berry bush really close to him. He crawled to it, putting some dirt on his jacket. He ate all the fruits he can.

Then he fell uncoscious again. Short while before that, he discovered a weird book near him.

Tritus silently stuffed the book he had found earlier inside his jacket's inner pocket. He advanced towards a pig village, that most basic of instincts reaching out to him: Hunger. He readied a steel short-sword of sorts. It had been somewhat modified. It had been shaved down on the edges in such a way that they were extremely jagged, to make the enemy bleed. The dark taint in his mind was distant, hiding, but ever so slightly present.

(time of day?)

"Another human?"

"It was nice knowing you all."

"Stupid humans. I hope this one goes far away before chopping anyone down."

"I hope it dies before it can kill anyone..."

Zach's regained consciousness, awoken by the annoyed and scared voices around him. It wasn't hard to tell that he was around many trees... But these were new trees. Different trees. A wave of fear washed over him. Where was he? Memories of recent events slowly returned to him, and he found that the last thing he remembered was that strange, non-tree voice. The man shook his head, deciding that it would be best to communicate first. "H-Hello?"

"There he goes. Now he's gonna panic when he finds out there's no one around.."

"Well, you're around, aren't you?"

At that, the trees stopped speaking. Could that human have... Have heard them?

(I don't think it can be sunset/sunrise (In DS player woke up at day) ... Maybe noon?)

Ferro woke up next time.

He said and took the book from the ground.

- Counteracting The Fermi Paradox... Where do I heard that? - he thinks.

Some pages were very old and brown. Then he saw some kind of spell. He said it and from the trees came out all birds.

He discovered that the other person woke up.

- Uhm... Hello?

(Oop, sorry.  Didn't notice.)

The soft clink of an amulet hitting the ground broke the peaceful silence of the grove, causing a couple of birds to flee up into the air.  A humanoid, transparent figure floated a few feet away from it, his legs connected to the jewlery by a thine, wispy line of smoke.  Looking to the moleworm that had carried the amulet here, the apparation released his mental control over it and walked towards what he had came here for.

Percy had been coming to see his body for almost three months now.  It was barely recognizable at this point, having rotted and decayed into a withered skleteton; but he could recognize it in the way you can recognize your childhood home, even after years of change.  Or, less glamorously, it could be the enormous, ragged hole in his side, the blow that had caused Percy's death.  A blow dealt by no more than a feral hound.  The boy still cursed himself for dying in such a stupidly pitiful way.

But something specific caught Percy's eyes, something that had not been there before.  Sitting on top of his corpse's chest was a dark grey book with emerald trimmings.  The title "Neither" was written on the front in forboding font, and an illistration of a ghoilish creature with sunken eyes was depicted on the front.  Interested by this strange turn of events, Percy concentrated and picked up the book.  He flipped through its pages, then closed it, irritated.  Nothing more than a generic, non-frighhtening "horror story".

He was about to throw this novel into the wood when he noticed something rather odd.  A nearby rabbit had gone pale and wispy, not unlike himself.  In a few seconds, this phenomenon halted and the rabbit returned to normal.  Thinking, Percy re-opened the book, and the rabbit immediately reverted to its ghostly state.

After a moments thought, he slipped the book into his pocket and took back control over the moleworm, wondering about the applications of his mysterious find.

Wickerbottom had been running nonstop for 5 minutes straight when she was forced to come to a sudden stop. The forest had cut off, and ahead of her, instead of the second obelisk, was a veritable sea of millions upon millions of evil flowers. Frustrated, she swore silently under her breath. It was a brilliant strategy of course, but it was against her, and she couldn't afford to have any of this fail. Turning around, Wickerbottom strode as quickly as possible towards the pig village.

Hopefully, they wouldn't have covered that as well.
