Idea for a mob/warm armor

Ok, heres an idea.Traveling in herds could be sort of robotic sheep, called Flockworks (ha! get it?). When fed gears, these mobs could grow some kind of coat, which could be sheared for Steel Wool (ha! get it?) When sheared, it would look sort of rectangular, and you could see lots of gears and stuff spinning. With a coat, there would be sort of a gray box around the midsection. The steel wool could be used to make warm clothes that also provide a bit of damage resist. It would be moderate amounts of both to balance. Maybe it would slow you down a bit. Warm-or? Thanks for reading! Feedback is appreciated! :-)

Hm this look actually to easy for for me... Free armor plus warmth for some of the gears... Also those metal sheep don't convince me, nevertheless your names are great haha... W-armor and flockworks xD

Obviously some balancing would be needed. Small amounts of both, rare flockworks, or long time for coat growth. Thatnks for the feedback!

The steel wool armor as insulttion wouldn't be a great idea due to the fact that when examining it (as wendy) it says : This Offers no hop of warmth so yeah...

I always just thought there should be some sort of houndskin armor set which would protect you less than

logsuit + football helmet but keep you somewhat insulated.
