Way to fix shell armor

You could use shell pieces and perhaps a sewing kit to repair some of shell armor durability.

I was thinking about this before. It's stupid that you can't repain anything. May be there could be some kind of tool kit, that you could repair all that with, or say:

Log armor you can repair with logs

Grass armour with cut grass

Marble suit with marble

Thelucite armor with thelucite fragments or thelucite (depends)

Etc.
