Just checked. She is Winnie with red hair.

My thoughts are that they wanted to add Winnie but she was used (correct me if I am wrong) in the Up And Away Mod.

Well, you know what they say. "Red haired Winnie is better than no Winnie".

Or something like that.

I doubt that a fan-made mod has any bearing on Klei's decision. As far as I remember, Winnie's files were removed from the game some time ago, so she had probably been replaced by Wathgrithr for some time.

If the bell allow the player to summon the giant of the current season, I hope that each character will be able to obtain it !

EDIT: it seems that it will because she doesn't start with it !

Webber is also used in a mod.

I take it that it's going to be one new character and one giant for this next update? So they don't overload everything for us at once. Which is good, because I am still getting used to the new seasons.

awesome.

Is there anything that warrants a puzzle thread? Seems pretty normal to me.

certainly not preemptively like last time.

What's that Water drop meter?

The character looks nice! And what that flint puking racoon? Renewable flint? :o

SO MANY QUESTIONS

Flint is already renewable in caves.

Looks like she refuses to eat anything that's not meat. I wonder what sort of perks she has to offset that.

In all likelihood, the ability to eat Monster Meat with fewer harmful effects. Let's hope so, or else the first few days playing as her could be a bit troublesome.

A manly viking girl--something neat and new. I was afraid we were just going to get characters that played off the style of the others.

This character looks cool! We can still expect Webber and one other! Klei is really the best DLC makers. Anyways will this update bring the DLC to Steam or will the forums better last a bit longer?

A few things noticed in the trailer that some may not notice: the Fashion Melon lowers sanity when worn, the wet meter is still in winter, it seems that she doesn't take any damage while wearing the helmet (she may be taking damage but the bar doesn't drop), the statue she passes looks like a werid spider-bee hybrid (possible bee queen?), the deciduous trees are now called "Birchnut trees," catcoons may need to be escorted to their hollow stumps to spit something out for the player, tumbleweeds still roll out of the desert biome, wet objects now have a thin blue box around them, and the craftable(?) bell item uses 33% durability. Hope this helps with analysing it and the new features.
