Game crashes after startup, no Main Menu

Steps to reproduce

Open the game in Chrome

Describe your issue

After I open the game in Chrome, it acts like it is going to start up but never does. It never brings up the main menu, even after 20 minutes.

The error info is as below:

ValidBrowser: true [NACL_ENABLED] util.js:16

Status: NO-STATUS util.js:16

Error: INVALID_STATE_ERR code:7 dump:{"code":7}

I believe all my drivers are up-to-date. So not sure why this is happening.

Try this

1 -) Open the folder C: \ Program Files \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ dont_starve \ VCRedist and install vcredist_86x (or other name) (*86x for me but my pc is 64x*).

2 -) Open the folder C: \ Program Files \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ dont_starve \ DXRedist and install DXSETUP.

Thank you. I tried that, but it did not work. (It did however work for my Steam issue.)

Alas, the Chrome issue remains. : (

Re-Run DirectX Installer

Failing that try clearing the cache.

If not let me know and I will see if I can trouble shoot for you more or pass you to a developer.
