BrickVoid
When I ran don't starve through Steam the first time, and got to the menu screen, the place where I have to click to highlight and activate a menu item is way off to the right of the menu items instead of right on top of them. Is this a known issue, a few search terms failed to show up anything. My system is basically a 64-bit i5 system with Windows 7 on it. I'm actually surprised that this game wanted to install DirectX 9, the current version for Windows 7 is DirectX 11, and the program may want to use features offered by my NVIDIA graphics card's installed programs anyway.I'm not sure if the incompatibility issue is because this game installed such old DirectX versions. Most articles I've read about DirectX indicate that the user should always use the latest version available for the OS they're running on, and that if a program uses DirectX, it should always be kept updated for the correct version of DirectX needed.Cheers ...BrickVoid
cptCalavera
I know it used to be a known problem, used to show up in the earlier versions on the chrome build. Havent heard about it on the Steam version though. Im moving you in to the bug department to see if a Dev has an idea.
BrickVoid
I found a workaround that seems to work for now: Change the game's resolution/refresh rate to match the settings in my graphics card's adapter. Thanks anyway.Cheers ...BrickVoid
lawlcall
I have the same problem, and am also running the steam version. Once I do get it started, everything is shifted to the right, as in to sense a berry bush for example, my mouse cursor has to be over beside it to the right about an inch before it recognizes the bush as there.
