Kucifus
Hi, Just bought the game during the steam sale. Installed and whenever I try to play it the game loads briefly, plays about half a second of music then the screen goes white and the game crashes. I've followed these instructions and nothing has changed. DX is up to date, cache is verified. Attached are the crash reports. game_85960_crash_2013_12_3T11_52_7C0.mdmpgame_85960_crash_2013_12_3T11_53_57C0.mdmpgame_85960_crash_2013_12_3T12_7_51C0.mdmpgame_85960_crash_2013_12_3T11_50_50C0.mdmp

Developer Wade Posted January 7, 2014 Developer Share Posted January 7, 2014 Can we get you to start the game with the "-enablelog" command line parameter? It should create an aggregate.log file which will provide us with more information.
mahaishaq
If you can sign in, then the underlying Win 8.1 is working happily. What is not working is the display driver to allow things to be put onto the screen correctly. You may need to a) boot into safe mode in order to copy in a new display driver b) find that new driver. Have you tried uninstalling\re-installing the game, and updating your video card drivers?

Developer Wade Posted January 30, 2014 Developer Share Posted January 30, 2014 And uninstalling\reinstalling the game is not working for you? Can you try verifying the integrity of your game cache in case something wasn't installed properly? Do you have any strange configurations of your hardware (ie. multiple monitors or irregular resolutions)?
