I'd like to get back into doing fanart and the gaming of Don't Starve instead of just roleplaying on tumblr, my muse finally getting back as well as my courage to draw Maxwell again. Since my old art thread is unable to be posted on and is closed I removed all images from it and placed them all into the spoiler below. Any new art will be posted as soon as I create it. Though- don't expect a lot of art from me since I am slow to making it. I take 4 art classes at school and am busy managing clubs there so personal full-colored art is minimal- as for my Original Character (OC) art, that is frequent as I enjoy doodling them in my spare time. Maxwell as well, if I get ideas for drawing him of course! Enjoy the art, or don't! Your choice my friends~ Old Art- Most of this old art is on my devientart account if you'd rather view it there. diekunstler 146 Report post Posted October 25, 2013 (edited) Used the actual color swatches for him on this one. Though the skin swatch was altered a bit, since it looked funny. But man he looks good in red and blue! He could totally rock red white and blue hahaha. I titled this ******, because when i posted it to tumblr i said 'look its this ****** again'. diekunstler 146 Report post Posted October 27, 2014 I'm necro-ing my own art thread. Huzza! Anyways I'm back--again. I got a little bit back into Don't Starve as its a nice and peaceful pass-time during college as opposed to shooting zombies heads off. Anywhoo I'm an animation student now! Haha! wHOO! I might post some of my rendered animations on here. They're simple exercises since I'm new at 3D animation- but its fun anyways. My homework mainly is CREATING THINGS- HUZZAAAAA. But yea I had the smart idea of coming back with my first ever mod- so have a character art process. And my goodness I don't understand lua coding at all. Rough Sketch: Refined Sketch (scanned in and done in SAI): Final (colored in Photoshop CS5 Extended): I tried to emulate the style as best as I could, and I think I did a pretty good job! It was a fun style to study- that's for sure. More Art from my sketchbook to come soon! I might do some fanart as well!
