Jack refers to the precious "twins" in his letter to Carter as well.William Carter is Maxwell.Charlie is the night monster, formerly Maxwell's assistant for performances.Wickerbottom...is a hag who read into the dark arts and Maxwell feared her realization...?WX78...was a character contrived by 9 year olds?Woodie...wanted to transform his axe into a human he could truly love but ended up turning himself into an abomination?
