Well if there is gonna be as much fuzz about it's name as with the OLD magic tab icon(for those who don't know it was a pentagram) then Eye Turret would be a good name. Or Deer-Taur (or "Tower" for more obvious pun)

No

That's why I made this thread

Wouldn't the fact that you made this thread mean you did believe them and not the other way around?

LOL! It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if that's indeed what happened.

I know when I first heard of the name "mino-clopper" I did smirk.

I mean I suppose we'll never know for sure unless Klei goes right out and says that's the reason for the name change, but it's not such a leap in logic to think that's indeed the case.

Easily, I could do so this very instant, but I'm not. Not that I think the subject matter is honestly so out of line that's it's unworthy of explanation, but I don't want to run the risk, because entering this territory... you always do run at least a slight risk of upsetting someone's delicate sensitivities even when trying to give an objective explanation without being crass at all.

Not saying that you should... but I'm positive that if someone were curious enough, they could spend some time with Dr. Google and at least find a basic and cursory understanding of why having a name such as "clopper" might be considered problematic for a game asset.

No-one here is going to google it because no-one here wants what sounds suspiciously like pony porn on their search history. If theres a horse molestation incident in my area I do not want the authorities kicking down my door as a lead suspect.

Just explain it so we can all move on from what is now an extremely boring subject.
