Unexpected Freeze from chopping wood

Steps to reproduce

It happened when i pulled out my axe that had 5% left and I went to chop a tree down.

Describe your issue

So today I was playing Don't Starve and my game crashed. I will provide pictures of what I saw when the game crashed. It crashed when I was in a forest graveyard. I put my axe on went to chop a tree. As
Soon
as I hit the tree my game froze. I'm playing on steam and I'm using the beta version because I have an intergrated intel graphics card. Here is what I saw.

lemme ask; did this occur at the day/night transition?

IE, as the day was heading into dusk? if so, I believe you have the same problem I did, make sure to watch the day clock and idling in the seconds leading into both autosave periods, and this "SHOULD" help

I think it happened from day to dusk cycle, but I am unsure. Although that is the only time that it has happened to me.

There is indeed a rare issue that we found with the day-night cycle which hopefully should be fixed in the next update.
