This is the information I got from the critters on a sandbox world, though it may be innacurate.

Blowter and Beakon

As far as I can tell they have the exact same food output as pacu, only using different food and having a mildly helpful byproduct. The oxygen output of the blowter is terrible since you need 4 per dupe, and Beakon is difficult to sustain long term since coquina is finite and you won't be able to rely on starnacle for phosphorite, although you could do dreckos. They are very good to get your food supply secured at the start of your colony though

Seaquine

This one works a little weird. Dupes will milk them at above 50% reproduction removing 50% and making 100 kg of ovolene. If their age is above 90% they can't be milk so don't worry about having them go extinct. The only use for ovolene is making caviar which is just better table salt giving +3 morale. I don't think they are necessary at all but they are cheap to ranch and you don't need many for a large colony.

Orehull

This one might be a bit overpowered. Forms a closed resource loop with tower kelp, making for no input free food, iron, and a bit of excess polluted mud. It feels a bit too cheap for how easy it is to make them sustainable.

Glo Squid

As far as I can tell it has the same reproduction rate as a hatch but makes x3 more food on death, and of much better quality. The ink is also a nice bonus which with the happiness changes may increase their reproduction slightly. With a polluted brine geyser you only need a little sulfur to sustain a large amount of tublia which can even mutate.

Slogo and Gildgo

They eat a little too much at the moment. 100 kg of salt is actually pretty hard to make and with 100 kg of sulfur you could sustain 2 grubgrubs instead. They make 4 different products which is very powerful (meat, mucin, obsidian/dirt, gold amalgam/lime)

I think Blowter is fine, its the first good food you can get beside Slogo. And water are more abundant on the map, so waterweed become free cuz it can use normal water now. And I love to try anything other than BBQ. O2 are bonus to reduce algae usage, but prob electrolizer is king in this map

Below are my theory, I haven try it yet

Beakon are bad version of Blowter, at least for food. Lime is nice, but you dont need a lot of steel ealy game. Probably still make 1 ranch to convert all coquina to lime

Seaqine probably good if we can get mushroom seed, making Mushroom Wrap or even Mushroom Quiche feasible (I got duskcap seed from normal printer, but still RNG). The caviar +3 morale are nice to cover both swimming skill

Orehull are nice free recources, iron is nice in metal poor start but pol. mud is kinda useless. Sludge press use a lot of dupe operation

Glo Squid, prob just good late game food. Like Shove Vole

Slogo, idk I dont want BBQ AGAIN. Mucin underwhelming I think, and I dont know how to sustainably get that much salt.
