Letting them make new nests would be convenient but I'm fine if they can't make any. You don't expect accidents to follow patterns that can be understood and utilised. You don't always get them Which makes me curious if "Failed Survivors" setting affects Tallbird Fortresses spawn chance (Despite the name this option also increases chance for various random setpieces to appear.
