Error during Initialization

Sorry to hear that our troubleshooting guide did not help resolve your issue. A couple of other things to check and try:

1) If you have changed or upgraded graphics cards, computer monitors, operating systems recently, please download and install all the latest drivers for these. You can generally find the drivers from the manufacturer's support website.

2) Try running the game at generally supported resolutions such as 1280×720 or 1920×1080. You can change this via your desktop's display settings, or via your dedicated AMD/NVIDIA Graphics control panel.

3) Update your Windows operating system to install the latest updates/patches for the operating system via the Windows Update tool: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/4027667/windows-10-update 

If the troubleshooting steps above are not able to help resolve your issue, please provide your log.txt and DxDiag.txt files. The log.txt file can be found in your documents folder at Documents\Klei\DoNotStarve\log.txt
