psusi 307 Report post Posted December 3, 2020 He's the only one in the bloody room. A pneumatic door separates him from the other tank that now has 2 fish in it. That makes it a different room, so he shouldn't be crowded right?
Nxf7 82 Report post Posted December 3, 2020 Overcrowded is based on water tiles and fly screen doors nor mesh tiles will split that. There's 20 water tiles there, is there a 3rd pacu or fry hiding somewhere? Needs 8 water tiles per fish. 2
0xFADE 553 Report post Posted December 3, 2020 Unless they changed something overcrowding (wild) pacu does not matter. You can have as many as you want in one tile and they will still lay eggs.

The mini-ninja pacu still counts. Also, @nakomaru did the extra testing to verify said results. So the pacu is only missing the ninja disguise. psusi 307 Report post Posted December 3, 2020 Damn... that's weird.. doors work to keep them separate in air, but not in water? I guess I'll have to switch to using a loader and chute on the left since I can't get the conveyor arm positioned so it can insert eggs into the dropper but not pick them back up. Yunru 1317 Report post Posted December 3, 2020 Personally, I have a hatching room above, with a floor door to the left and another to the right. Which door is open depends on the number in the respective tank below.
