Well I’m back with more crazy ideas-

Klei can 2020 Please be the year that we FINALLY get green and blue flame fire pit?

Preferably with a pile of skulls in the center like This:

Or Maybe a Green glowing “It’s Alive..” Frankenstein Monster Tesla Coil Lightning Rod?

The Next one is already “Sort Of” done.... D7FA8CDC-F2D9-4FE0-80B4-17543488A2FF.png.8b01807f42a271e1dd974056b5ff0d8d.png

but I would like an Improved 2020 version where it looks like a Bird literally trapped inside a Spiders Web with a gigantic terrifying spider about to ensnare it within its legs and have that poor bird for lunch ;)

(Told Ya I knew how to do Spooky right..)

I think adding some green coloring to ANY Firepit would be something I would REALLY like to see most though.. as sort of a Spiritual firepit.

So wormwood head would have 2 crossiants with flowers around him in spring while bees chasing after him like grumble bees. Seems fiting.

Ghosts are amongst the few mobs without a costume after all. I think Walter can pull it off nicely.as sheet ghost is a rather childish classic. Here's two very amateur concepts :P

Does anyone know when the Halloween event will start?

Well, I have some speculation. Last year it started on the 25th, but it also came with Wurt. This year, they said they are not gonna make any big changes to it, and no new character is coming. What they DID say however, and I quote: "We're keeping this all under wraps for now, but we'll have more details as we get closer to the October content update." Now, what stands out to me here, is that they refer to Hallowed Nights as the "October content update", which is weird, since as I recall, they usually refer to RoT updates as Content updates. This may be nothing more, but what if we are actually getting Forgotten Knowledge alongside Hallowed Nights? In any case, we will get more info about Forgotten Knowledge near Hallowed Nights

Yes, people working at Klei.. and I bet they aren’t willing to let that secret out the bag just yet. But I’ve waited all year long for Hallowed Nights return- I can wait a few more days till they have it ready no rush.

Safest bet is probably around the last two weeks of October, with the event possibly running through most of November as well.

When your dealing with the month of spooky, you have to ask yourself- What is the very essence of Spooky?

Its when you take a skin everyone wants to see come back such as this:

Then you change the color of the fire to more accurately portray cursed or witch’s flames, you slap a few skulls around the edges of the firepit, and for extra effect you draw some spooky otherworldly tortured souls pool of water portal, effectively turning into this-

Those Wortox skin concepts rule. I am definitely expecting a great skin for Walter. Whatever they decide, I'm sure it will be awesome

I second this. I don't recall much about last year's event, but I remember how it stuck around for a long time, perhaps it was even up until Winter's feast.

I know it’s not Don’t Starve Together, but I just installed the update to Plants vs Zombies Battle of Neighborville, the Halloween events have started, PVZ is decorated in Halloween cosmetics, with Halloween themed unlockables available.

I love this time of year I LOVE IT.. and while I am a little sad that this will be the first year in all of my life that traditional “Halloween” has been outright banned due to Covid.. video games can take up that mantle by providing me with spooky scenery and unlockable cosmetics.

I hope I finally unlock Creepy Cauldron this year... I NEED it in my collection of odd skins. #MeLikeyDaSpooky.

Absolutely! Last year's Winter feast, my first one since I started playing DST, was a great time for me, even though it's just a video game. My family doesn't celebrate Christmas very enthusiastically due to religious reasons, so I never really got to experience the "Christmas spirit", but playing DST with friends during that event gave me a taste of what it's like to celebrate together, and boy did we have a great time. It's one of the reasons why I love video games so much. :wilson_love:

Seasonal events in games have always left me with a warm feeling in my heart, it's so heartwarming to see creative depictions/ideas/concepts that come from seeing a game world crossover with a real time celebration.

I love everything down from seeing skins, events, and themes in all my favorite titles, no matter how big or small said events are. :wilson_love:
