Blue Moth
Days 4-7: Day 4: Prompt was "knot" so i drew someone tying a snake in a knot. DISCLAIMER: I do not support animal cruelty. Do not tie snakes into knots. Day 5: Prompt was "Raven" so I decided to draw @ZeeDragon's character, Saturn. Day 6: Prompt was "Spirit" and I drew the spirit and Senpai from Friday Night Funkin' Day 7: Prompt was "Fan," so I drew that damn fan room from Hot Lava's school levels. Blue Moth
Day 8-16: Day 8: "Watch". Drew Wanda with her various watches. Day 9: "Pressure". Drew Weezil and his gang all yelling at Smith and putting him under a lot of pressure. Day 10: "Pick". I drew my retired D&D character, Joerona, with her war pick. I'm not super proud of this one, it's not very creative. Day 11: "Sour". Drew a Sour Patch Kids apocalypse. I'm proud of the POV/perspective here, I think I did a great job on it. Day 12: "Stuck". Drew the dapper frog man stuck in the sink from my game idea. Day 13: "Roof". Drew Lucy sitting on a roof looking upon her kingdom. It started out with just a person sitting on the roof and it escalated to this giant hellscape we see now. Day 14: "Tick". Drew a Tick ominously standing behind Blue, surrounded by shriveled up ant corpses. Â Day 15: "Helmet". Drew Wigfrid looking at her helmet, reminiscing on the glory days, like in her short. Day 16: "Compass". Drew the "woah this is worthless" meme format to express my feelings on the item.

Day 17 - Collide Day 18 - Moon Day 19 - Loop (my mom didn't want me using the word "dammit" so I censored as passive-aggressively as possible) Day 20 - Sprout  Day 21 - Fuzzy Day 22 - Open Day 23 - Leak Day 24 - Extinct Day 25 - Splat Day 26 - Connect Day 27 - Spark Day 28 - Crispy Day 29 - Patch Day 30 - Slither (this one's a sequel to day 4!) Day 31 - Risk Closing thoughts: I'm really happy I decided to do Inktober this year, it was a lot of fun and it really helped me grow as an artist. Blue Moth
This is Rafflesia and her plant golem. Rafflesia is a new character I made for Avithera, she and the golem are replacing Mycena and Yuno, who weren't very interesting characters and I felt like I could do better. Rafflesia is an orc spellcaster who specializes in plant magic. She raised her golem from when it was just a sprout. The golem isn't very intelligent but it's shown small signs of emotion and attachment to Rafflesia. The growth of a plant golem is an interesting process, it can't be grown naturally, and it requires a few key components to make. Spoiler The eye of a creature with a strong soul is the key component. The eye is the gateway to the soul, severing the eye of a creature with a weaker soul will result in not enough soul being leftover after the eye is detached from the body. The seed will grow around the eyeball, eventually becoming one with it and growing into a golem. Rafflesia herself is a very bubbly, extroverted person, but she has issues with other people's boundaries and she doesn't always get the hint that sometimes people don't want to interact with her. Her heart is always in the right place, but she's not very good with people.
ZTheNecromancer
Well ya heard em so I guess I'll return it, technically we're part of the same thing so... Most of what I've drawn for BB is related to his game idea (Dustkeeper), mainly concept art, character iterations, and an art trade Starting off with concept art for Dustkeeper, most of this is quite old and I should probably start doing them again Spoiler (This one uses an older design for brody, the apathetic short protag. They're broken down versions of another enemy called Breadful) (This one has fudged up legs, I forgot they were called digitigrade so I ended up drawing them from memory) Then I did my version of Miralith, from BB's Avithera. Some of the colors were altered because I tried just eyedropping them and they didn't turn out very well And a drawing of brody I did for the art trade we did recently. I did it in three hours, which is the shortest amount of time I've ever finished a drawing. Finally, this: Spoiler
Blue Moth
Thank you so much Zee you're literally the best. I suppose I should probably post some of my own concept art for the game idea too, since I actually haven't talked much about it here. So, let's just dive into it I guess. The main idea for the game is that your neighbors are moving, and they hire you to clean their house for them, and you have 7 days (or however many days I decide to make it) to get the house all the way clean. If you fail to get the house clean before the seven days pass, the new neighbors will show up. The new neighbors are monsters and it'll be an instant game over when they show up. This is Brody, the protagonist. He's a very apathetic 14 year old boy who's very short. There's not a whole lot to say about him, but here's more drawings of him. Spoiler (technically i made the lineart for this, but zee's the one who colored it so it's both of ours) and it's sort of a first-draft sprite for Brody, excluding the ones for when I was planning on the game being a side-scroller, but now it's gonna be a top-down type thing because Zee and I agreed that'd be better. Drawing with Brody and an earlier draft for the neighbors, the ones that move away not the monster neighbors. The neighbor's daughter was his best friend, and one of the few times you see Brody's blank expression change is when he's with her. She also slouches, just so Brody doesn't feel bad about being short. These are the neighbors, the ones who move away. They're in the beginning of the day. The mom gives the tutorial for the game, shows you around the house, all that kinda stuff. I'm considering adding implications of a divorce or domestic abuse with the neighbor's husband, but I don't know if I'll go with that. Her daughter is Brody's best friend who will let Brody show a little bit more of his character when interacting with her, as well as telling him about some suspicions she's had about the house and that kind of thing. The youngest is kind of a joke character, though he'd also foreshadow a later enemy which I'll get to in a bit. This is my first concept for what things would look like ingame, showing the UI, Dialogue Box, and background. This is the first boss of the game, the Dust Bomb King. He's a bigger, beefier version of the regular Dust Bomb enemy, with a few more attacks. If his fuse goes out before a certain amount of time (probably like 60-120 seconds) he'd explode, dealing some heavy damage and leaving a whole bunch of ash and dust everywhere which would take a while to clean up. He also carries a key to free an important NPC who I'll get to next. Whether you kill him or he explodes, he'll still drop the key and allow you to free the NPC. His attacks would be something like this, although not exactly the same because i concepted his mechanics when i was still planning on a side scroller. Spoiler attacks explosion animation (i'm proud of how this looks) This is the leader of the dust people. The dust people are tiny little creatures that live in the dark dusty areas of the house. They can be hired to help out with cleaning as a thanks to Brody for freeing their leader. They're pretty essential to the game's story, assisting Brody in cleaning which makes the house get clean faster, and having a major involvement to multiple of the game's endings. This is the dapper frog man in the sink. He's stuck in the sink and he wants to get out. He sells useful equipment and items to Brody in exchange for various trinkets as well as some things that could help him get out of the sink, like butter. This is the Breadful and the Crumbersomes that Zee mentioned earlier. The Breadful is a standard enemy that splits into smaller pieces every time they're attacked. They'd also have a small chance of dropping the butter which is given to the frog man. I need more bread puns for these guys. This is another boss, the Spider Queen. I've not quite figured out her mechanics yet, but she'd be in the basement in a very web-infested room, and she'd probably summon spider minions in addition to having her own attacks. Spoiler These are the closet monsters, the enemies that the little kid foreshadows that I mentioned earlier. These little gremlins are found in what was formerly the kid's bedroom, when you walk up to the closet, you'll hear various banging sounds until you open the closet, unleashing these two to cause havoc around the house. The player has to chase them around before they make too much of a mess. If they run offscreen they'll hide or they'll shapeshift into an inconspicuous object, though their presence is given away by the sound of quiet giggling. They can be lured by trinkets which you can find around the house, which is hinted at by an animation where they cough up toys before quickly eating them back up. Spoiler This is the attic monster, a somewhat hidden boss in the game. The old neighbors tell Brody not to go into the attic, but if Brody finds the key to the attic, it can be accessed, revealing this boss. This boss would probably be the most difficult boss, but he'd also have the most reward. His mechanics would be similar to this, but again it's a bit dated because I made this when i was planning on a side-scrolling game. Spoiler The reward for killing him would be two things, a stopwatch which gives an extra half day to clean the house which is certainly nothing to scoff at, as well as allowing the good ending to happen, since the attic is now unoccupied, the dust people can have a place to call home after the rest of the house is cleaned. Â Last but not least, here's the new neighbor, the one who's moving into the house and kills Brody if he shows up before the house is clean. Not really a lot more to say about him, but here's a game over screen I never finished. I know i said "last but not least" but i lied, here's one last thing, it's a hypothetical for "what if my three protags were all friends", those protags being April from Date With the Devil, Astrin from Avithera, and Brody from Dustkeeper. jeez that was a long post to make.
