Crashed when changing equipment as Wheeler after unsuccessfully trying to drop a stack of charcoal

I was playing as Wheeler, I'd just got back from picking my items up in the swamp after a terrorbeak killed me there, and my Pew-matic was loaded with charcoal but I also had a stack of charcoal in my inventory. I tried to put that stack of charcoal on the ground while holding the Pew-matic and the "Drop" option wasn't there, but this is a problem I'd had earlier and unequipping the Pew-matic had solved it, so I tried to switch to my Navigadget so I could drop the charcoal and my game crashed immediately. I also got an error when I tried to use the in-game bug report form to report this.

Same savefile: I've discovered that now my game crashes when I try to equip the Navigadget at all.

I have the same problem, some advice? There is a solution for that?
