This thread I'll be posting most of my art that I come up with as of today but right here is where I'm putting all the stuff prior to the day I post this starter thread thing. (owo) If some of these are reposts from the old thread, sorry-! I probably like it a lot- Most of the new drawings will probably not be digitalized beyond perhaps making the drawing look cleaner compared to my phone's pictures (which are quite good but if I feel it could be better, then I'll digitalize it just for the lines!) Rarely will full drawings like these be made during times that I'm in classes so be patient and bear with me! (this will be c onsistent this time i swear) Stained glass window Darkiplier with extra eyes that I wanted to try out? I saw a lot of stained glass windows with angels in them and got inspired to make something like that but with Dark (who I'm 90% sure is a demon, but it's unconfirmed so-) Some Joseph Christansen button designs that I wanted to make since Dream Daddy merch barely exists anymore! So I made my own of my favorite dream dad (next to maybe Robert). An icon I drew of Demencia from Cartoon Network's Villainous because I wanted to try drawing her out for once! What's left of a character ref file that got corrupted and/or lost on my computer I took a screenshot of this to show my friend my drawing of her doll character (seen on the left) and my *cough Cuphead OC* Die-anne (she loves herself some spook). A sketch I made that turned into a brief lineart piece of The Host (from Markiplier/Cyndago's unfinished The Author series). He's a good boy. The colors for both characters are complementary and make them pop out from the teal. The monochrome element in this fits. Making him pop out as well. toki-dokke Posted December 27, 2019 Author Share Posted December 27, 2019 So: not gonna lie here, I casually went through @minespatch's art thread (the non-DS one) and found some of the designs of my old characters and I got shook. Old art designs, so my college brain said: redesign time. this one might get digitalized, lowkeyAnaiel, my angel character that I basically made after finishing season 10 of Supernatural and decided 'yes all angels wear trenchcoats because it's to hide the wings', got a redesign this year uwu. Not only did I redo his face and his hair to differentiate him from my warlock character Blasius, but also I redesigned his wings to give a different look to them. The note above in that corner says "wings only visible via shadow casting" (essentially they're not physically there but can be seen if a light is shined on him). Loki also got a redesign since I originally wanted to stay closer to Marvel Studio's version back when I first made him but now that I'm older and wiser, I said "yeah do that but don't". So his redesign features 2 outfits that he alternates from. The one on the left is his battle outfit (heavily inspired by both the Winter Soldier in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Loki in Thor Ragnarok, as well as a smidge of Chrom from Fire Emblem). Those boots? I strive to get those. The battle outfit does double as armor and he wears it to fancy events because of course gods have parties. The outfit on the right is his usual outfit, staying a little closer to the traditional side (featuring those boots). Also he's ginger but this was a pencil drawing with no color, but a note was made. and some non-redesign drawings uwu So I drew myself. This isn't something I usually do since, oddly, I just don't enjoy drawing myself? But I figured since it's almost gonna be 2020, it's time to update what I look like nowadays which is a rat in a beanie. Equivian Prionny (a fusion of Johnny and Priapus from Equivia, an rp I'm doing with mines). Meet the Fuku Gang. Fuku is a reference to the local place in my corner of the states, Fuku Burger (a Japanese twist on a burger place which is just s o good). Based on the people I knew and celebrities, there they are. We have Okinom@ (based on Tyler, the Creator, and a friend), Narci$o (based on A$AP Rocky and a college buddy), Donn Jag (based on Donald Glover/Childish Gambino and 2 college buddies), and in the upper corner it's Jonas Marshall (based on Trippie Redd and Joyner Lucas). So you might wonder: why are they all rappers? 1. Rappers are cool. 2. Musicians that also work on the music and voice work was something I always found neat. So all this is fictitious of course, but I just had to flesh out this little bit of world-building. (we also have brand names in the corners and on clothes such as Dingo Dango (a clothing brand), shirts.neat (an online clothing shop with independent artists), and neef (a beanie and skateboard brand). So I'm at least 45% sure that Bucky Barnes (pre-Infinity War) looked kinda like @minespatch's character Barry Brantley. And not only do they share similar initials but they both have brown hair. Well, really it's a cos-test since I don't have the full outfit but the Star Wars hype is high right now, so I'm currently jumping onto the train with Ben Solo aka Kylo Ren. I took this opportunity to work on my male contouring and being the first makeup I've done for 2020! While I do know I could do much better with the scar, tbh it's honestly not that big of a deal right now. and yea i look like a mess, my tired scale has been high (b-ben swolo. He's that vine where the kid is running off with a knife saying he has one. Usually, it's common to be armed as a Norse god at least. So my character Johnny gets a burn injury that's severe enough that he'll need a Sally Face-like prosthetic mask to cover up and protect the wounds as he's getting treated and healed up. I do love the Sally Face mask a lot and then @minespatch suggested that I also make one that includes the design of the Phantom of the Opera's mask too. Shirts are real here!
