There's no more Rock-N-Roll, your drugs are doctor prescribed, and everyone's too afraid if being canceled to say hi to anyone. The new generation might be the first generation to be less "cool" than the one before. Edit: This would mainly apply to American kids. There's plenty of youth led uprising going on around the world. Earth goes through cyclical enviroment changes. We will definitely enter in to another Ice Age before the Sun burns out. We may be accelerating this but we're not the cause.
