I'm actually very curious as to why this was a change, do wet birds have any impact on anything?

I don't think so? Birds normally get don't really wet when touching water in the first place so I can only assume that's what they were going for.
Oil and all that whatnot.

Werepigs refuse to attack me as any wereform during the fullmoon.

I can hit them, they'll howl, but still ignore me. They refuse to attack me useless I'm rubbing against them. Is this intended? Feels like a bug.

I know this is an intentional mechanic, as beaver originally had this before the rework came out.

I also had this issue as well, they even try to hit you but no damage is inflicted sometimes.
