Because that's the topic of the thread. Electrolyzer designs which fully utilize any electrolyzers included. That's what makes his design different. Whether that's optimal or not is a different question.

Title was 100% uptime.  I guess I did not see this exclusive to electro up time which wastes energy on o2 pumps that are not at 100% utilization.  But OP has since commented this is about having electro up all the time, for whatever that's worth.

100% electrolyzer uptime doesn't mean you have to waste power on gas pumps running at below 500 g / packet. Atmosphere sensors will take care of that for you.

I've always preferred the feedback loop cutoff approach (ahh the old spaghetti ), less fussy when things back up. So long as you have a high pressure vent the cutoffs can't backup and allow the wrong element through. When the o2 backs up the chamber over pressures quickly and everything locks up. When the h2 over pressures (whats wrong with you?!?!?!) the system limps on for a while as the h2 pressure builds up then is finally seizes. 600 *0.888 = 532.8kg per cycle 

 

(obviously no cooling here, put that in however you like on the o2 line

Have you looked into daily reports to see how much O2 your electrolyzer produced during previous cycle?

Here's the colony summary.  It's pretty steady between 1771g/s and 1776g/s

@LeftyRightyme too, spaghetti + mechanical filter, I believed it has 1:1 ratio (water to o2+h) with this electrolizer and pump arrangement.

I fixed the rogue hydrogen bubble sneaking into my O2 pump issue.  Place the hydrogen pump between the 2 electrolyzers, and they no longer interact with each other.
