My guess is embarrassment and possibly guilt, since there are children on these forums, and generally people that *really* don't like NSFW. Spoiler Initial weirdness of the subject aside, it's a valid point plot-wise. Being trapped at a developmental age of hormonal imbalances for far longer than normal would be nightmarish, not even counting the eventual identity crises. As before, I love it.
