Warly's Recipe List!

Recommended Posts

I have compiled together a huge list of:

-New Recipes being introduced in the Warly Update, both exclusive to Warly and not. This includes the ingredients needed, their stat values, and other special effects.

-Already-Existing Recipes that will be useful for Warly's "refined" palate.

-Seasonings, and their effects.

I already posted a rough draft of this in the "Early Access?" thread, but since I spent a few hours researching food and stat values, I think it warrants a separate thread. Convenience!

This was made with the intention of you to copy/paste into Notepad or something, and have it open while you play DST.

So, here it is:

Spoiler

WARLY'S RECIPE LIST

Contains all of the new recipes added in
his DST Update, along with viable recipes
already in the game, for convenience.

I will also link to this thread on the Steam forums so the folks over there won't get left out.

Edit 1: Added the stat values to non-Warly-exclusive new recipes. Potato Soup and Mashed Potatoes are still missing.

Edit 2: removed Potato Soup because apparently it doesn't exist.

Something that might be worth doing once this update comes out is also giving the spoil time, particularly with the dragon chili salad recipe in mind. All the ingredients for that aren’t accessible once winter comes around so depending on the time, you might have to save the ingredients in a farm plot so they don’t lose freshness

Bundles will also play a big part for an efficient warly.

A slight misconception about the voltgoat jello, it doesn't increase lightning damage, it converts normal damage into lightning damage which on its own has a damage increase. Using it on electric darts and morning star would be a waste since they already have the damage increase.

Glowberry mousse is the only thing that excites me about the character, I like the idea behind the seasonal foods, but barring the implementation of of Gorge style farms or wild veggies other than carrots, his food is more tedious and short term than hats.

I might give him a try next time I play a caves only world, but I don’t think I’ll use him in normal play.

Still not impressed to consider playing warly. The chop less and more damage seem cool but very gimmicky. Not being able to eat anything not prepared in crockpot is a huge con. Chef pouch keeping food from going bad a little longer is not that great. Once you get a krampus sack, you'll ditch the pouch or even make an ice chester instead. They should up the inventory space of the pouch closer to a krampus sack. Will make people want to play warly. Warly doesn't like eating the same stuff so it just force you to make tons of farm or have to go out for more food resources. Might be okay temporarily if someone uses portal to change characters if they have tons of food in bundles they want to make more powerful then change back but the cons outweigh the pros for me. Maybe it's more a challenge character like Wes.

I think they said on the stream it is

is it indefinitely stackable or there is a limit? is it linearly stacked or is it like wx's charge? Does the buff reduce if Warly eats same food item with same seasoning?

I think the limit is 1 for each buff. I dont know what happens if Warly eats the same food item with same seasoning.
