let's not forgot that gorgeous gas conversion/storage facility.

For those who missed it, I'm guessing this is what you are referring to.  That was super fun. :)

Hi to all :). Any news about the crashes? Maybe we will have to rollback for the weekend? All luck for the devs must be hard to figure what is happening in the new system.

Ipsquiggle posted in one of the update threads that they have identified the problem and are working on implementing a fix for the crashes for today's patch. And that they'd be rolling back the conduit rework that is causing the crash for the weekend if they miss today's patch. So it looks like either way the crashing should be gone for the weekend.

Nice! Ill try the waterweeds that another friend recommended in the oasis topic when the rollback occurs and your wood idea.

What did they do wrong other than their weird breeding tactic :c

If you could control their egg chances, say with temperature, and they released much larger packets of the resource they'd be fine.  As is, it's completely random what eggs you get and they constantly release tiny amounts of slime/bleachstone/oxilite that has to be gathered immediately or fall in water to avoid it outgasing.  That's extremely labor intensive pre-automation.

The egg chances aren`t random. Only real randomness is about getting squeaky vs a dense puft which is about 50:50 given the right setup. The hard part is to ensure there`s always a prince in the ranch so regular pufts lay squeaky/dense eggs while squeaky/dense pufts always lay their respective morph eggs. When ranching regular pufts it`s best to rely on the prince to lay regular eggs (100% chance) or even have a separate breeding room with princes only. Controling the variations allows for continous orders on the egg cracker to get rid of unwanted morphs.

As for their products they will not ofgass if the pressure is high enough. To properly ranch pufts you need to provide them enough gas anyway so the ranch should be pressurized above ofgassing point.

I agree it`s really hard to set up and doesn`t pay off nearly as much for the work the setup needs but it`s definetly managable with enough resources and doesn`t require instant sweeping.
